Offered for sale is my Grandfathers Governess Cart/Carriage. We do not know the year of it or even it's era, but would at a guess put it around . In good order, the cart was restored prior to him buying it years ago for my auntie to use. This never happened and was kept in dry storage until around a month ago when we got it out from under the sheet and gave it a wipe over for some pictures. Looks to be in good order but will need some tidying up to some trim pieces. The right hand shaft has previously been repaired at some point, I have no idea why. Here we have an mint condition carriage.  All the side panels are removable so it can be used in good and bad conditions. The roof can be folded back easily if you require. The only bad points are that the paint is pealing slightly by the rear wheels were the brake line enters the hub. see photo, both sides are identical. Apart from this the carriage is great condition. The interior is spotless and very fancy, the photos don't do it justice. I think it's a velvet fabric or very similar.  It has a working hydraulic brake and Leaf suspension on all wheels.
