A  quality english leather GP saddle made by calcutt and sons. The saddle measures 17" from the front of the stud to the cantle, 7 inches between the D rings and 3.25 inches between the padding in the gullet where it would sit on the horses back.  The tree is sound as is all the stitching, the girth straps are all in good order and the flocking is smooth and even with a nice amount of give in it.  Postage to Ireland would be £20

I have up for auction my faithful 17" GP Calcutts & Sons saddle for sale. 9" from D ring to D ring. Lovely brown English Leather. Has been well looked after and kept indoors when not used, although has the odd scuff etc because in used, but SAFE, condition. Lovely deep seat which makes you feel secure and has been used on a high withered tb and a 14hh fat arab (lots of room for high withers but also sat perfect on my fat pony)! Have never fallen off in this saddle and is suitable for any discipline! Only for sale as no horses anymore and need money towards my daughters nursery fees. Comes with stirrups, Brown comfort girth with elasticated buckles, Brown stirrup leathers and a high withered Red numnah. Exceptionally well made and solid saddle with wide bearing surfaces. Extremely comfortable. Black, generous 17” (see photograph), fit estimated as narrow side of medium (see photograph). Knee and thigh rolls. Tiny mark on skirt (hardly visible) as shown in photograph.  Some slight indentations on third girth strap also as shown in photograph.  Otherwise in very good and sound condition.  Leather is flexible and has been well looked after.  Viewing (Taunton, Somerset) is welcomed.

J. A. Barnsby saddle, I think this is a dressage saddle but I'm not really too sure, looks fairly old and could do with some leather feed as it's a bit stiff, slight wear to seams in a couple of places. Girth straps all good and I will include a Girth strap in the sale. This is a nice looking old saddle from a well respected maker, for use or perhaps decoration? Brown leather GP saddle, old style, made in Walsall so excellent quality. 17" size, medium fit. Very comfortable to ride in so ideal for a day's hunting or for hacking.
