A  quality english leather GP saddle made by calcutt and sons. The saddle measures 17" from the front of the stud to the cantle, 7 inches between the D rings and 3.25 inches between the padding in the gullet where it would sit on the horses back.  The tree is sound as is all the stitching, the girth straps are all in good order and the flocking is smooth and even with a nice amount of give in it.  Postage to Ireland would be £20

  18" quality brown English leather GP saddle. 'Huntsman' - Made by F E Towe, Walsall. Says N (narrow) on tree but more like narrow/medium fit really 9" D-D centres, 4" between padding below pommel, cut back wither. Just been re-flocked and thoroughly checked June so all padding is even and stitching is good. Soft and supple leather. 4 new girth straps. This is a really nice comfortable saddle which has no serious damage just the normal small scuffs and marks you would expect from a used saddle. There is a small circular stain on the seat but hardly worth mentioning. Not overly large or heavy for an 18" Can be borrowed and tried if you are local. Returns accepted but buyer pays return carrier postage.

GREAT QUALITY LEATHER GP SADDLE - Mdm - - PLS READ DETAILS PRIOR TO BIDDING, THANK YOU - - checked by saddler - sold in good faith as sound stirrup straps well looked after nicely flocked no mottling, big snags or scrapes comfy seat area 18'' pommel stud to cantle, 9'' D ring to D ring This unbranded, but very well crafted, saddle is in a genuinely Very Good Condition overall. There are the usual wear marks as can be expected but nothing major of note or anything that affects this saddle cosmetically or it's functionality.  NB ~  On closer examination, there's signs of  wear to the stitching on a small section of each skirt and a small part at the edge of the leg panels. This is only caused by the riders leg etc but thought it worth a mention. Functions well as it is but may need a few stitches in those areas in the future. P OLITE NOTE:-   The winning bidder is recommended to get the fit checked/adjusted for their horse by a qualified saddler prior to usage.. *Winning bidder is welcome to collect from LN4, with cash on collection. Beautiful hand crafted GP saddle by Master Saddlers J W Wycherley & Sons of Malpas, Cheshire. This is an elegant, quality saddle in black with brown outline detail on seat, (as photographed), giving it a very smart and unique appearance. There are varying textures on the saddle-smooth seat and knee rolls, subtle texture elsewhere. This saddle is in excellent, used condition and has a real quality look and feel making it an appealing and eye-catching choice for the show ring. Although being GP, it is not particularly forward cut. Immaculately clean, soft and supple as has been well cared for. Tree, girth points (3 each side) and stirrup bars all sound. Usual wear evident underneath girth straps as illustrated. Cantle has two small areas of surface damage as shown. 6" D to D. Narrow fitting. All straps are original and intact. A real gem of a saddle!
