IDEAL working hunter type saddle in English brown leather. inches Extra wide.   This beautiful, well loved saddle has been used for showing and dressage on my lovely cob for the past four years. He has now sadly passed and this saddle needs a new home. There are a few stirrup leather marks due to normal wear and tear. Beautiful Ideal working hunter saddle,  16.5inch brown english leather, Lovely soft leather which gives a very comfortable ride, medium to wide fit. I had it on my 14.2hh  flat withered, broad connemara. In excellent condition apart from a couple of tiny marks (see pics) an a couple of marks on the girth straps from general wear and tare. This saddle has been well looked after and has always had a cover on. No time wasters please and only CASH ON COLLECTION!!! This is an Ideal Working hunter saddle (Photo of buckle guard shows "Working Hunter" in gold writing). 17" seat (as shown in photo), Wide fitting ('W' Stamped on stirrup bar), approximately 9.5" D to D measurement, and this saddle's tree has never been adjusted so is as manufacturer specification of an Ideal wide tree. Flap length approximately 15" from stirrup bar to bottom of flap.  Brown leather, sound tree and good flocking, just missing the left hand side D ring. "wide fitting ideal working hunter saddle in lovely condition.   Lovely little saddle with plenty of padding and good deep seat and nice soft knee roles.  Suede is general good, one mark on seat which is not seen when saddle being sat on! stirrup marks as per usual wear on suede saddle  Fantastic saddle for up-coming workers season, yet straight enough for showing, only for sale to fund purchase of new pony!!   More measurements and pictures can be taken on request.

Gorgeous 17.5inch brown leather Ideal saddle in very good condition, there is a bite mark on the pommel of the saddle, I made the classic mistake of leaving it on stable door for a moment while I turned my back and my boy decided to try and eat it! but all in all has been well looked after, always oiled and cleaned and kept with saddle cover on. There is the usual wear to where stirrup leathers lay. It is 8.5inch from D to D, I would say it was more of a medium width. Sadly doesn't fit my new youngster so am having to part with it. It does have some sentimental value as it was for my boy who I sadly lost to sever colic this year and therefore it's been hard to make the decision to sell it. I hope it can find a new home as it's a lovely saddle and has a lot of use left in it! I would prefer buyer to collect however would post if anyone was interested.
