I bought it as new for a 14.2hh Welsh Cob and since fitted it to a 16.2hh Irish Sports Horse (who was bought as a 4yr old whereby the saddle has been adjusted twice as he has developed). This has been a brilliant saddle and in very good condition and only for sale as I have now given up riding.

Please take an extra note of the terms at the bottom as there very strict and if you do not wish to stick to them PLEASE do NOT buy.   Right in this listing:   Thorowgood Black Griffin pony GP saddle   15 inch and id say it was a medium fit but please view photos of measurements and decide for yourself.   D-ring at the back to attach a crupper too if needed.   Girth straps in great condition. Leather look material easy to clean and wipe down.   Cosmetically it has been used so shows normal signs of use e/g light rubbing/small scratches/small marks hear and there, the only blemish’s to point out is:   1. There is a small “nick” in the material on the back cantle on left hand side (Shown in photos) it is small and doesn’t effect use.   Wouldn’t cause ANY issues at all with its use.   A great little saddle.   Fab saddle for backing purposes/home/starter saddle.   PLEASE VIEW photos ALL cosmetics are shown. Please take an extra note of the terms at the bottom as there very strict and if you do not wish to stick to them PLEASE do NOT buy.   Right in this listing:   Thorowgood Maxam Cob version GP saddle   17 inch and id say it was a medium-wide to wide fit but please view photos of measurements and decide for yourself.   D-ring at the back to attach a crupper too if needed.   Girth straps in great condition and removable/movable front knee blocks.   Cosmetically it has been used so shows normal signs of use, the only blemish’s to point out is:   1. There has been a repair on the seat where the fabric has ripped slightly but it has been stitched up well and wouldn’t cause any issues with use 2. On the cantle the fabric on each corner again has spilt slightly but I have glued this down so again shouldn’t cause any issues 3. On front left knee roll there’s been a rip in fabric again cosmetic 4. On the front pommel there is a slightly spilt in fabric   All of these are not that noticeable and certainly wouldn’t cause ANY issues at all with its use, a seat saver would cover the ones on the seat and cantle and the riders leg would cover the knee one if your bothered.   Still a great little saddle and other then those blemish’s it only shows normal signs of use and plenty of wear left.     All of this is ONLY cosmetic and won’t effect use at all, its still a fab saddle for backing purposes/home/starter saddle.     PLEASE VIEW photos ALL cosmetics are shown.
