Brand new black 18" event / general purpose saddle. Manufactured by Ideal for Stirlingshire Saddlers. They design & Ideal make all there saddles. This is a narrow fit. Was bought for 16.1hh ex-racehorse and never used. It already has deeper panels to allow for the high withers. Horse no longer around so saddle not required. Only sign of wear is bit rust on one dee-ring. Little dent on girth straps as been tried on a few horses in yard. See photos. Between dee-rings 7.5/8 " Comes with Ideal cover. I paid £900.

The Grandee is a broad, armchair seat with nice knee blocks a great GP saddle for Hunting, Hacking and showing. It has a square cantle which gives a flatter seat and is a more forward cut GP saddle so can be used for jumping and hunting as well as general work and exercise. I used this for my 16.3 ISH he has since retired and it's just too Long in the seat for daughters 15hh cob. It's a wide fit please, although there is a M stamped on the stirrup bar, please see photo's for fit the measurements are 10" D to D. It has a very secure and comfortable seat and is secure, and flexible with its uses, I am sorry to see this go, but pointless keeping it as looking for a 17" now. Tree has been checked and confirmed sound a comfortable general purpose saddle, the saddle has been replated with Specialised Saddles who originally supplied but can guarantee it is an Ideal saddle, grab a bargain as these retail around £.

Ultra comfortable saddle that I have happily hunted in all day, however I now have 4 Connemara ponies and it is far too long for them, so needs to go ASAP - hence cheap price! I will upload other photos in due course, but all girth straps etc are sound, and whilst the leather has faded in the usual places, there is no damage to it.
