Bates Black GP/VSS interchangable gullet and cair system.....I am selling this saddle on behalf of a friend....She has only used it a handful of times and has now sold her horse so no longer needed....It is 17.5 and 7.5 across the D rings at the moment but obviously you can change it.......It has removable knee pads with velcro....It is in very good condition still has that new feel to it...only has a few boot rubs on the flaps as shown in photo 5....just general wear & tear really. Complete with Bates purple cover and two Velcro knee rolls (not shown), 17.5" saddle with extra wide gullet (white), black leather.  Approx 8 years old.  In good condition and looked after very well but as photos show, slight damage to the cantle.  There are some white hairs where the knee rolls attach due to colour of horse which is reflected in the price.

Well looked after saddle in excellent condition. Only mark is the usual wear & tear from the stirrup leathers. This saddle has a deep seat with knee rolls to help maintain a good rider position.   The cair distributes the weight more evenly over the horses back.   The saddle is currently in the red gullet (wide) but can easily be adjusted to any width. We have all the width adjustable gullets & can be sold with whichever suits your needs. Happy for anyone local to try saddle, as I know how difficult it is trying saddles.

17.5" Brown Bates Caprilli general purpose saddle for sale. This saddle has the CAIR system and changeable gullets. It currently has the yellow (narrow) gullet inserted but is easily changed. There are a couple of scratches on the knee roll (see photo) which are unnoticeable when riding but it has been well cared for and is in great condition for a used saddle. You are bidding on an 18" Bates Caprilli changeable gullet dressage saddle in black. This saddle is used but in excellent condition. Currently containing a narrow gullet however I also have a medium narrow which I will throw in for the winning bidder if required. I have had the Cair removed & the saddle flocked, however if the winner would like the flocking removed & the air bags back in, I can also get this sorted ASAP for you (the saddle fitter owes me one!) If you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to ask- it's an absolutely fabulous saddle which has done me a great few years of competing, it's just a shame my lad has changed shape with age so it no longer fits.
