I bought this saddle new. It has only been   used for a couple of years. Good condition. Attractive design VSD (very slightly dressage). Lovely plump wool flocking. Havana. Very wide fitting- 11 inches D ring to D ring (it was for a wide Arab) I love this saddle but it doesn't fit my current short backed horse so need to sell. It cosy me £900 new from Nathaniel Underwood. I can't find the original receipt but it is stamped Symmonds Saddlery 'Designer' on the flap and was made in Walsall. There are a few girth buckle marks on inner flap as you would expect but this saddle is in very good condition and really attractively styled.

This beautiful saddle is the most comfortable English saddle I have ever sat in! It has a very soft seat really comfy for a bad back and long hours hacking. It puts you in a very nice but not forced position and is very supportive at the knee and cantle, I have used this saddle for jumping also. It has a minor scuff on the cantle but this can hardly be seen and does not impede the saddles performance at all. Please contact me for more info. Here I have for sale a 17.5 saddle made by m&j saddlery Lichfield. It is a wide measuring 9.5 inches between the d's and 5 inches between the front panels. As illustrated you can see this saddle was for a section d mare most recently, but has been used on a variety of horses over the last 3 years. Last re-stuffed 11 months ago, hasn't been used much since. It is a very comfy saddle, has a good semi deep seet a slightly longer cantle for security over jumps and knee and thigh rolls for maximum security. Cannot fault this saddle, can be used for all disciplines or as an everyday hacking saddle as it's so comfy. For any more pics/info please ask. Very realistically priced so grab a bargain!!

Brown English made VSD  by Jeffries. British standard on the stirrup bar and serial number stamped on sweatflap. All stamps and plates in place.  Very comfy. Ideal for big shouldered horses and sits very neatly. Ideal as a GP or even in the show ring. Measures just over 17" from stud to centre of cantle.  Measures 9" across the dee's. This is a nice wide fit. Stamped 'M' on the stirrup bar but has been altered. Flap measures 15" from stirrup bar to bottom.  Tree is sound. The stitching is strong and girth straps are sound and solid. Normal signs of use. Recently reflocked with pure new wool so beautifully soft and smooth. Very useful, well made saddle.
