I offer for auction:- Just had a sort out in the garage and have found what I believe is a leather harness for working horses. It is all complete and all straps are intact, there is a copper/brass decorative strip accross the top which you can see from the photos. All in all for its obvious age it is in good condition and I'm sure it could still be used or displayed in a pub or stable. Thanks for looking and good luck should you decide to bid.

Set of Working Harness - Cob. This is a used set that could be useful - but is old and needs repair. Could be useful to someone though. Collar with hames: 'Open' collar. Strap to close collar needs repairing (see picture). Stitching on strap could be redone. Cloth on back/inside needs repairing (please see pictures.) Pad: in good working condition but needs an oil and clean. Cloth has some small holes but is totally useable as is. Breeching: leatherwork good (needs an oil) but needs repairing over the metal ring. Heavy Horse Harness - 2 Bridles with bearing reins. Used and old but could be used as they are. Bridle 1 (on left in picture): With bearing rein. Brass across the noseband. Leatherwork in good useable condition. Bit: 6.5". The brass has come away from the leather however. Could do with a good oil, clean and polish as been sitting in my tackroom. Bridle 2 (on right in picture): With bearing rein. Nice bridle with brass over the noseband. Bit: 6.5". Useable condition but bit is rusty. (please see picture) If you have any questions, please ask. Here up for auction I have a vintage / antique driving harness bridle & leathers. It has a very unique driving bit on it I have researched it but can't find the make of it. For its age it's in great condition. I would say this is a full bridle. The other leathers with it I'm not sure if it's to do with driving or showing. A large antique harness rack in unrestored condition with original paint/lime wash finish.  Leave it as is, or strip and wax it.  Fantastic age/quality.  Genuine barn find.  Very rare.  110cm wide, 37cm deep.   

Details about   Antique Horse Drawn Harness Carriage Lamps

A matching pair of antique, Carriage Lamps with pagoda style vents on top and white metal bands around the stem inscribed "Patent No ". There is a small brass collar just under the lower band. The word 'PATENT' also appears on a raised lug on the unglazed side of the lantern (photo 5). Dimensions: Overall length 48cm, Lantern box width 13cm x 13cm, Weight: 1.75 Kg each The bodies of the lamps are in sound condition, the paint job is not original and is chipped/scratched in places. The vent stack on the top has taken some wear in its time (see photos) and the top of one appears to have been replaced - see picture 4. The clear glass windows (front and side aspect) are bevelled and contained within bright metal frames. The small, circular, red glass window (rear aspect) has a copper/brass coloured surround. All the glass is in good condition apart from some superficial scratches on the clear windows which can be seen in the photo details (all windows are shown). The rear window hinges downwards to give access to the interior (see final pics) which is lined with copper reflectors all in good condition. The lamp has been converted for electric lighting, the cable exits via a hole in the bottom of the stem. The oil burner holder (seen in last picture) appears to have been a previous conversion.
