Clydesdale x shire mare, 6 years old, only recently haltered and started handling, 17.1hh or so, she now leads, ties up, loads and catches with a bucket(some days I dont need a bucket), she needs more time spent doing the basics, we have had her feet up but until she is lifting daily I feel this is a not progressing as fast as it could, she is kind natured but genuinely green and big! if you are nervous or novice please do not contact me as you will not be offered her, she will thrive in a routine with a knowledgeable and experienced person who understands the requirements of an unhandled horse of this size. She has been in a herd environment which is not ideal as it means she gets less one to one and the others are all super petted and squish her out the way. She will make a fantastic riding type, big leggy type of heavy, passported and wormed and now fed a little hard feed each morning, she is also still living out. A lovely project who will have a lot to give to anybody putting the time in that she needs. She has bred a foal which can be seen, excellent mother would be a lovely broodmare.
