The bottom of the saddle flaps need a few new stitches either side but this is easily repaired by a saddler. I have shown this in the photos. Med wide. 8" D to D I could probably post if necessary for around £25 but it is at buyers risk.

Black Leather 17" GP in very good condition. Changeable gullet system, currently fitted with medium wide (blue) gullet Comfortable deep seated leather GP flocked saddle. Uses Wintec or similar gullets changed/fitted exactly the same way. Soft leather padded knee rolls and adjustable leather knee blocks. The girth straps are composed of 2 layers of leather with nylon reinforcement and have virtually no wear. The saddle is in very good condition, there are a few minor minor scuffs on the cantle, but overall great condition. The flocking is soft and even, the saddle has large weight bearing panels.

For sale is a lovely bates saddle, 17.5, black leather with interchangeable gullet system. The cair has been replaced with flocking and will need fitting to your horse. I love these saddles as they are particularly great for horses that may change shape, this has a black medium gullet but happy to source another size if needed. This one is surplus to my requirements but is in great condition. There is slight wear to the bottom of the saddle flaps from the stirrup leathers and small groves on the girth straps as expected. It has been kept dry and covered in the original saddle cover. Get yourself a bargin as they are very good saddles, I use nothing else now. This was fitted to my 16.2 TB but will need the flocking adjusting. Please ask if you have any questions.

USED GFS Fieldhouse BLACK leather GP saddle ". This is a very nice saddle with a comfortable seat position. The D - D rings measurement is 8 1/2" and the internal gullet measures front 3 1/4" Middle 1 3/4" and back 1 1/4". It is showing some signs of wear at the cantle and pommel but does not effect its use. Also there are two indentation marks on the seat which is not visual when in use along with two small scratch marks.

Details about   17.5" MEDIUM GP / EVENT BLACK LEATHER

Lovely gp/event style flap with decent knee rolls and a medium-depth seat.  The saddle was made by a Master Saddler and bears the Garfield Roth Saddle Company Logos.  Its a 17.5" seat.  8.5" d-d.  Medium width.  Spring tree.  Engraved 'M' and has not been altered.  Its in overall good used condition. The usual but very minimal use related marks are present to the flaps, seat, cantle, pommel and knee roll beading. The d rings are slightly tarnished. This saddle is without doubt still smart enough to use at competitions.  Very nice saddle purchased last weekend in hope of fitting my new boy, sadly it seems he'll need a MW fitting saddle.
