Lasted 3 weeks Used  on our rapidly growing foal Washed and clean ready to use Please note the picture was taken prior to cleaning! There is a small catch on the neck piece near the buckles, possibly rubbed on something sharp There may be a white patch on the side of the rug where the mare had some sudacreme on her nose! It may leave a trace in washing.

CLEAN AND PROOFED AND ALL READY FOR THE WINTER Used Mark Todd Foal Turnout Rug 4'9" Navy blue -- in excellent condition 600 Denier ripstop polyester,   breathable and waterproof 150g fill Cotton lining with nylon (I think! It's something silky anyway, lol) at front of the rug (see pic 4) to help prevent shoulder and chest rubbing Single front fastening with buckle and swivel clip.  This rug cleverly allows for the growth of a foal and has two clips, hook and loop and a buckle strap to allow several inches of change across the chest in the rug (see pics 5 & 6) Fillet string Fleece wither protection Fabulous little rug. No rips or tears, clean and proofed. Piping at back of rug, on both sides, has come away from the rug a little, where the 'little darling' rubbed her bottom on the fence! This has no bearing on the rug, the piping is an added detailing on the rug (see pics 9 & 10) I have sewn 'pleats' into the front of the rug as my filly was so fine the chest was too big (see pic 7) These are easily unpicked if your foal has a wider chest than mine had. The sewing is into the webbing only and does not stop the rug being waterproof. My foal lived out in this rug all Winter without getting wet. This rug will come in the original carrying bag with its original tags UK posting only, sorry No returns, sorry, trying to have a clear out!   Shetland/ Minature Triple Layer Wicking/Cooler   This is probably the most useful and versatile rug within our range and one we would thoroughly recommend!    Not to be confused with a basic fleece - this rug is triple layer and wicks away moisture from the pony very quickly whilst the thickness keeps the animal warm.  So they are absolutely ideal after, exercise, bathing, travel or in the very cold months just as an extra layer for warmth.   The rug has 100% polar fleece on top and underside and 3mm foam at centre - the result being that moisture is 'lifted' from horse to outside of the rug in very short time and if rug then left on horse the moisture evaporates while they are warm and dry!  There are adjustable double chest straps with quick release clips (one strap and clip for sizes up to and including 3'9) and cross surcingles with rubber washers to help unfastening.  Wither protector and filet string also feature.   The 'hand' pictures demonstrates the moisture on the outer side of the rug which has 'wicked up' from one of our horses.   Packed in zipped bag with handles - ideal for storing when not in use
