  Shetland/ Minature Triple Layer Wicking/Cooler   This is probably the most useful and versatile rug within our range and one we would thoroughly recommend!    Not to be confused with a basic fleece - this rug is triple layer and wicks away moisture from the pony very quickly whilst the thickness keeps the animal warm.  So they are absolutely ideal after, exercise, bathing, travel or in the very cold months just as an extra layer for warmth.   The rug has 100% polar fleece on top and underside and 3mm foam at centre - the result being that moisture is 'lifted' from horse to outside of the rug in very short time and if rug then left on horse the moisture evaporates while they are warm and dry!  There are adjustable double chest straps with quick release clips (one strap and clip for sizes up to and including 3'9) and cross surcingles with rubber washers to help unfastening.  Wither protector and filet string also feature.   The 'hand' pictures demonstrates the moisture on the outer side of the rug which has 'wicked up' from one of our horses.   Packed in zipped bag with handles - ideal for storing when not in use

  Ruggles 4’3” Newmarket Fleece Rug     This is an auction for a lovely Ruggles 4’3” Newmarket style fleece rug.   Ruggles specifically make rugs for Shetlands and small ponies and as such, I found these rugs the best fit for my Daughters small Dartmoor pony. Others I tried just seemed to be smaller than the horse equivalent but not scaled down very well in order to fit a pony correctly!   This rug has been used once overnight when I bought my Daughters pony in to keep my cob company as my cob was clean & off to a show the following morning! The fleece is in great condition with no rips or tears but inevitably due to the nature of the material there are a few hair and a bit of shavings dust stuck to the rug!   I am having a big clear out as my Daughter is no longer interested in riding so I’m selling off the bits I have acquired which are also listed in my other items.   Please feel free to ask any questions & I will reply as soon as I can.     Thanks for looking!
