Man VW 7.5 Tonne Horse box for sale. MOT, until February - passed MOT this year only needing 1 new tyre. Currently TAX'd but dont think this can carry onto new owner with new Tax laws! Owned by myself and a close friend for the last 13 years. In the last 5 years of my ownership it has had 2 new batteries with isolator fitted, A new brake system to allow it to meet current MOT standards, the air compressor serviced and rebuilt and been regularly serviced. Extensive work has been carried out on the box to remove any rusty framework. This included removal the unusable side ramp and having a tack area door fitted and new reinforced ramp hinge area to cope with heavier horses. A new double skin floor has been fitted in the last Months with rubber matting fitted in top, but regularly lifted to ensure floor remains dry. Lights fitted in box to ensure easy loading at night. This lorry will easily carry 3 large horses. My horse is 17hh with sufficient head room. It has been weighed with 3 horses on board and does not exceed maximum gross weight. Very reliable lorry, used most weeks. Have competed and driven to events all over the country in this lorry without thinking twice. Starts first time every time but can be a little smokey when cold. CD player with decent speakers installed for those long journeys. It currently doesn't have living installed but is a good size area to have items fitted, currently has saddle racks mounted on the wall. Only selling due to inheritance has allowed me to get something newer and wishing to have living due to doing further away events. This lorry has no power steering but as a female driver I have never found this a problem. There are also some small rust patches starting to come through the paintwork on the cab but nothing structural or serious, Previous repairs have been made to both cab rear corners. I am selling my 7.5t Iveco horse lorry.  Since having this lorry we have re done the back floor in the horse area, it has had three new tyres, and new break lines front to back, two new batteries beginning of this year, we have also build a small cupboard, which I use to put my tack in, you can always put a toilet in this area.  It also has a leisure battery and 240v consumer unit with built in leisure battery charger, new loading gates have also been fitted in the rear and a petition wall to allow for the cupboard / toilet area that we currently use as a tack locker, the chassis and underframe of the rear body is solid also the main chassis is solid having had no previous welding carried out or needed, we have owned it since july last year when it passed its mot only needing a wheel nut and this year all that was required was the front to rear brake pipe, very reliable lorry that starts first time and we have serviced and maintained it ourselves as my boyfriend is a mechanic and carries out all of the work for me, cameras are fitted to the horse area and to rear of lorry for reversing living area has hob sink cupboards to allow hanging area for jackets and boots, cooler box comes with the lorry and there is a stainless steel splash back fitted behind the hob, sleeps 4, led lighting in both living and horse area, cut through could do with tidying up, water tank currently linked up to sink but could be converted to run hose pipe for washing horses, we spent four days in somerford park this year and it was a great lorry to stay in and very comfortable, overall length of lorry inc cab is 24ft, horse area height is 7ft 8inches length 9ft 2inches, living area length 6ft.
