18” MW Farrington black dressage saddle.   Farrington are a small independent saddle manufacturer, based in Walsall, with its own range of high quality saddles.   Only best quality English Sedgewick leather is used for these medium-priced, exceptional saddles.  This saddle is in very good condition, having had minimal use. A lovely comfortable deep seat   and supportive knee rolls. It has Crewe Saddlery pins on the top with a Farrington badge under the stirrup flap. I've been using it on a 15.3 Irish draught cross. Although the stirrup bar is stamped M it is a MW fit. It has been checked over by a saddler and has a good tree. Walsall made Optimus dressage saddle.  In very good used condition.  Good big knee block. Versatile, comfy and secure. Good wide and well padded seat. Lovely broad panels and wide gullet. Puts you in a correct position. Set back stirrup bars.  Measures 18" from stud to centre of cantle. Measures 8 1/2" across the dee's. Nice MW fit.  Flap measures " from stirrup bar to bottom.  Tree is sound. The stitching is strong, and girth straps are in good condition. Has point strap fitted, to help stability, and holds the saddle well behind the horse's shoulder. Panels are wool flocked and soft and even. Just normal signs of wear and use. Sits well on so many horses i've had so is well used, colour faded in places, however tree sound, seat restuffed last year and lovely new girth straps and in really good nick. Slight nick on the underneath of the saddle inside the gullet towards the back of the saddle. Unseen when ridden and doesn't affect saddle. I am selling this beautiful saddle as it no longer fits my horse. It is in excellent condition with very little sign of wear. I bought it a couple of years ago and it has been used for about six months in all. It is one of the nicest saddles I have ever sat in, puts you in a great position, has lovely big, soft thigh rolls and really helps you to sit well on big moving horses. The leather is the grippy and supple. It has recently been checked and re-flocked by a master saddler and I am gutted to have to sell it but needs must! I would say it is a generous medium wide - wide. Approx 8" between d rings. Please note, it is stamped Farrington KN but was originally sold by Crewe Saddlery so has their name on the metal nail head covers.

Lovely saddle, done wonders for our flatwork as completely leaves the shoulder free, sad sale. As you can see from the photos the girth straps are hardly marked.

Ideal Susannah Brown dressage saddle M+ (MW). Purchased new from TDS in December . I have the receipt. Crown version which is the superior quality. This saddle has been loved and looked after. Always cleaned after use so it is in fantastic condition,stored at home, no scratches or blemishes. Sold with cover. Maintained from purchase by a master saddler, it has never had any tree adjustment and the flocking is soft and even.
