Semi Flex 17.5" Working Hunter Saddle by Barrie Swain on a Holistic Freedom Tree..The saddle is just over a year old. The SemiFlex tree moves with the horse and allows the rider to feel and connect with that movement. The SemiFlex tree flexes from front to back when the rider sits, and the points flex in and out with the horse's movement, providing optimum comfort for the horse. Half Owen serge panels, short girth straps. Removable knee blocks, small thigh rolls and the original saddle cover. A small mark on the cantle but otherwise in very good condition, only lightly used. Currently a wide fitting but can be adjusted to your horse. The price of a new SemiFlex saddle is £. Also available Barrie Swain Dressage knee blocks which can be used on this saddle. This makes this straight cut saddle suitable for working hunter, showing and Dressage. 17" X Wide, Suede, Havana, Show / Working Hunter saddle. This is a lovely saddle it has had minimal use (only used for shows). Only for sale as my pony really has to have shorter saddle. This saddle is stamped wide but has been widened by Fylde to extra wide, when I took it to them they said it looks like one they made but it has no badge on it, it is very similar to the Samantha. It measures 9.5" D to D and is very nice to ride in as it has a wide seat thus spreading the riders weight allowing the horse to move more freely. It does have marks on the suede for my stirrup leathers all shown in the picture so please look carefully at the pictures, however this does not effect the saddle and can not bee seen once you are on. Please feel free to ask any questions.:)

Farrington Working Hunter Saddle. 17" seat. Medium width, (see photos with tape to make your own judgement of D-D). Black leather. Very good condition saddle. Comfortable seat. Tree is sound, flocking even, no fading of colour in the leather.  All girth straps are sound with no stretching or pulling of holes and no cracks or splits. Minimally marked where stirrup leathers have rubbed, as you would expect from a used saddle. Has girth buckle guards on both sides, just removed one for purpose of photos. There are two minuscule marks on the seat - more indentations than anything - not punctured at all and no detriment to the saddle, (see photos). Brass D-rings. No rusting to stirrup bars. Been used on a 16.2 ISH, sadly matured out of it. Willing to bring to try on within 20 miles of Junction 31 M1. Delivery by courier £20, or can collect in person, or will deliver within 20 miles.

This never saw much use as we had a second one that fitted better. I'm afraid I don't know much about horse stuff so if you need further measurements, photos etc please tell me exactly what you need and I will try my best. I've given it a clean with neats foot oil (whatever that is ?) no doubt it would benefit from further polishing/attention but to my inexpert eye it does look to be in very good condition. I recall it was thought to be quite narrow.  The ideal scenario would be that you try it out,  so i'll accept returns on condition that collection and return is at your expense and within 2 weeks.
