Thorowgood Griffen Cob saddle " seat and extra wide (10 inches D to D) It is not a changeable gullet or Fish system. Not in show condition, it does have some signs of wear , the cantle is scuffed and the Thorowgood stud on one side of the pommel is missing. It is however otherwise a perfectly good saddle, the point and balance  girthstraps have been replaced with leather straps and all 4 girth straps are in excellent condition. Throwgood Maxam Cob Saddle best suited to wider barrel hard to fit type horses.  This is a wide saddle with flat panels and has three girth straps and a fourth point strap for extra security against movement on flat backed cobs or wider horses.  I am only selling as I no longer have the horse I used for this saddle on. Please note that this is not a gullet changing saddle it is a fixed gullet and is stamped as extra wide 17".
