This saddle is so great it seems to fit anything! Sadly for sale due to my mare retiring. Saddle is a great fit and has been used on 2 show cobs. Looks great on anything with a shorter back but still has a long flap for adult legs. In excellent condition, only been used for showing and had been cleaned and covered after every use. Such soft leather in excellent condition. Usual signs of slight wear around stirrup area but overall perfect condition. Previously found it so hard to find a saddle for my cob that would stay put and not move, however Ideal have got it spot on and I really can't find fault in this saddle. Measurements are: 17" WIDE D ring to D ring: " At gullet opening: 5-7" Has fit 2 different shaped cobs and fits both of them like a glove however they were different shapes. This saddle really is a dream and would recommend it to anyone who has a wider horse that wants something to sit perfectly. Has been checked by saddle fitter and physio. Always get compliments about it! Any questions please don't hesitate to ask:)   Preferably cash on collection-would consider dropping off within 25 miles. Gorgeous 17.5inch brown leather Ideal saddle in very good condition, there is a bite mark on the pommel of the saddle, I made the classic mistake of leaving it on stable door for a moment while I turned my back and my boy decided to try and eat it! but all in all has been well looked after, always oiled and cleaned and kept with saddle cover on. There is the usual wear to where stirrup leathers lay. It is 8.5inch from D to D, I would say it was more of a medium width. Sadly doesn't fit my new youngster so am having to part with it. It does have some sentimental value as it was for my boy who I sadly lost to sever colic this year and therefore it's been hard to make the decision to sell it. I hope it can find a new home as it's a lovely saddle and has a lot of use left in it! I would prefer buyer to collect however would post if anyone was interested.

Brown English leather Ideal saddle Company saddle. This saddle was checked last week by a master saddler and is sound. It's a dead on medium fit with a 17" seat. I bought this saddle a few weeks ago but my horse has changed shape dramatically and therefore no longer fits. It has a very deep comfortable seat which encourages a correct riding position. It's been very well looked after by previous owner. It does have the usual marks where the leathers sit but when mounted you can't even see them. All girth straps are in full working order and both d rings are in place. There is a very slight amount of rust around the d rings as expected but doesn't affect the use in any way. Please make sure you measure your horse correctly as I don't accept returns. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me and I will do my best to answer all questions as best I can.
