Its with a heavy heart that I have to put Alfie up for sale Hes a heavyweight cob, 15.2hh, 10 yrs old. Hes safe, but very green. I bought Alfie in and owned him for 2 yrs, in this time he has been a happy hack with light schooling, I sadly had health issues which forced me to sell him in . Late I was offered to buy him back, which I did, but sadly Alfie was very overweight, weighing in at 750kg. Over this winter he has lost 150kg and is where he needs to be. Alfie now needs bringing back into work slowly. Due to being very green he now has a slight bronc when going into trot, he tends to do this just once and that's it hes fine. This boy could make someone an amazing horse with time and patients.I feel I cant give him what he needs due to having no facilities to bring his full potential out and feel that Alfie is very wasted with me with my work commitments also. Looking for a forever loving home for this handsome chap. His name is Pinocchio. He is 11 yrs old. 14"3hh piebald gelding. He has been a riding school horse for the past 6yrs. He has previously completed X country, dressage & jumping. He has lovely high action, nice to ride. Very good in schooling environment, will hack alone and in company. Excellent to clip, shoe, box etc. Up to date with farrier, teeth etc. When he came to me 3 months ago, he was hard to catch and not good in a herd but since then is a completely different person.
