Its with a heavy heart that I have to put Alfie up for sale Hes a heavyweight cob, 15.2hh, 10 yrs old. Hes safe, but very green. I bought Alfie in and owned him for 2 yrs, in this time he has been a happy hack with light schooling, I sadly had health issues which forced me to sell him in . Late I was offered to buy him back, which I did, but sadly Alfie was very overweight, weighing in at 750kg. Over this winter he has lost 150kg and is where he needs to be. Alfie now needs bringing back into work slowly. Due to being very green he now has a slight bronc when going into trot, he tends to do this just once and that's it hes fine. GOLD RING ~ yr old ROMAN ARTEFACT ~ OFFERS CONSIDERED

GENUINE ROMAN MAN'S RING APPROX. YRS OLD. This chunky ring was actually worn by a Roman citizen in the 3rd-4th Century AD as is evidenced by the wear and slight indentations etc. The ring is in as found condition i.e. the intaglio had a slight chip where the gold bezel had a knock. This was done in Roman times but obviously still continued to be worn as the ring was still a thing of beauty and the intaglio still gave a really good impression. Personally I was happier having a ring with signs of everyday use in my collection than having a perfect specimen and wondering if it was really genuine. These rings were normally worn on the little finger. Size in modern terms is about a UK size Q. Nice chunky ring with a good weight of about 4.8 grams. Even though Jazz is 12 he's still young minded and soaks in everything he's taught and has very low milage. Bear With Rupert 9 years old Chestnut gelding Ex racehorse I've sadly come to the conclusion due to time and work commitments I can no longer do him justice. Rupert deserves the best home possible and it would break my heart if he didn't so 5* home is a must! I have owned this lovely ginger boy for the past 3 years and it has had its ups and downs. He has manors to die for in and out of the stable and loves to be groomed and messed with. He's great to handle but like any horse he does has the tendency to shy at something daft. He has fantastic feet, regularly shod with a full set and brilliant for the farrier. Rupert is an easy going lad to ride and a fantastic attitude to work. He's very clever and picks things up easily. He hasn't done much jumping with me due to him being a show horse. I have although taken him around craven and sommerford park and he hasn't been a problem. He does however needs a confident rider to boost his confidence to pop the fence. He has excelled in the showing circuit and gives the judge a fantastic ride. 13.3hh 10yr old Chestnut Gelding

Reluctant sale of our 13.3h 10 yr (nearly 11 yr old) old British riding pony gelding. We have owned him for nearly 4 years and over this time has been ridden by myself and my 10 yr old Daughter and before that my older Daughter. Unfortunately my 10 yr old Daughter has lost interest so we need to find him a new home. He's still in work, fit and ready to go. I would describe him as a very friendly, fun, forward going, responsive pony. He's a very pretty pony who moves nicely on the flat and over jumps. He's great on the yard and is turned out with mares and geldings, out all summer in at night in winter. He's good to catch, load, clip and shoe. He's good on the roads and will lead the ride. He can get a bit excited on a ride once you've had a canter if he's at the back of the group, we find if you let him lead he prefers it and calms down straight away. For that reason I would say he would suit a competent lightweight adult/ teenager/ confident and competent child looking for a second pony, I wouldn't say he would be suitable for a novice. He will hack on his own but hasn't done for a while. He likes to jump and has done PC, XC, show jumping and sponsored rides. He had been attending weekly schooling lessons with my daughter Before she stopped riding but this area could do with a bit more work. No lumps, bumps, laminitis or sweet itch. A lovely little pony who doesn't have a nasty bone in him, I'm looking for a kind and loving home and someone who will enjoy him. Up to date with vaccs, worming, teeth, shoes. Extremely sad sale of Joey, a stunning chestnut 16.1hh 13year year old Welsh section D x Warmblood gelding. He has turned his hand to most disciplines over his career and excelled every time. He loves his show jumping and will always give anything a go. He's currently jumping m unaffiliated including being placed 3rd at the trailblazers finals in the 1.10m class. I've also focused a lot on his dressage regularly competing at novice level unaffiliated scoring over 70% on numerous occasions. This year he's been to the trailblazers finals, the championships of Great Britain and Dressage UK winter and summer championships where he won the class. I've just taken him up to elementary level where he was qualified for the trailblazers second rounds scoring over 65% in his first outing. Joey is a great character to have around and although straightforward most of the time he can be sharp to ride and handle at times, he will hack alone or with others but isn't the most confident about 'monsters in the hedge', the traffic itself big or small he's absolutely fine with. He has been known to kick so I always wear a red ribbon in his tail when out competing. He loves going out and will practically load himself and stand on the lorry all day at a show. Ace has been part of our family for nearly four years. He was my sons second pony and he has done everything on him. He has been to pony club camp three times, rallies countless times, fun rides, done the musical ride at the flower show in Shrewsbury twice, tried polocrosse and is a great pony to hack. Ace will happily live in or out. He is no problem at all with the vet or the farrier. He travels in a trailer or a lorry. He loves to be groomed is easy to clip and tacking up is not an issue. He wears front shoes only never needed backs and these need changing every weeks depending on the amount of road work you do. Ace is a wonderful pony to hack out alone or in company. He will go first or last but is happier infront. He is great with all traffic and fazed by nothing. I have taken him everywhere hacking open fields and country lanes and he has never scared me. Never bucked kicked or reared. HOWEVER I'm selling ace as a happy hacker. this is not through any fault of the pony I'm just trying to be honest. My son had a new pony last August so since then Ace has only hacked out. I have nowhere to show ace off to his full potential so it seemed only right to sell him as a happy hacker. he is at present being hacked out twice a week by myself. Please no LWVTB.
