The table has been expertly renovated using only the best techniques and materials, including several coats (always at least three!) of Annie Sloan chalk paint and two layers of clear wax for protection and sheen, meaning that it both gives a nicely aged appearance today and will also continue to age beautifully. Dimensions (approx.) Height = 73cm x Width = 57cm x Depth = 107cm Width = 152cm (When fully extended) In this example, Old Ochre (creamy, off-white shade) chalk paint has been used on the table. The mahogany top has been sanded back for a nice natural wood finish. The top is solid old English oak. Beautiful solid pine table and 4 chairs when closed it's 120cm diameter when the extention is added to the middle its 120 x 160cm will easily seat 6-8. The extention is not housed in the table but has to be stored separate. The base has been painted in eggshell white. This is not a new table so there are knocks and blemishes on the top but nothing major. The table top is extremely thick and chunky 45cm. The chairs have been sanded then hand painted in eggshell white and recovered. I also have 4 fiddle back chairs. All has been hand painted so may show signs of this. The table has undergone full refurbishment, it has been stripped back to bare wood throughout. The table base and chairs have been painted with two coats of under coat, and two coats of a Farrow and Ball colour AMMONITE The paint is oil based which is hard wearing to knocks and bumps. The top simply pulls apart revealing the two additional leaves which then simply slot into place. And when not in use, they sit beneath the table top. Whilst the top has been treated with several coats of satin varnish. The chairs have been fully refurbished and re-upholstered with new foam and new high quality fabric.
