I’m selling my custom Telecaster. It started out life as a Squire Telecaster but features many upgraded parts. The body has a floral pattern fabric top which has been lacquered to a smooth finish. A few "battle scars" but nothing to jeopardise the playability. Fitted with Fender Noiseless pickups to reduce "hum" wired to a 4-way selector switch for a bit of extra versatility: Position 1: Bridge Pickup Position 2: Bridge & Neck Pickup together Position 3: Neck Pickup Position 4: Neck Pickup with added gain & warmth to give a "humbucker" style tone (useful to boost solos) Tone control has a push/pull pot to act as a "kill switch" on positions 1 & 2. Tastefully custom built telecaster electric guitar, tribute to Leo's first guitars. It is not an original Fender - just a tribute to one. This instrument is made according to old specs that were used back in 50s, to bring back the feel of what teles were back in the day. Body is full thickness alder with a thin nitro finish. All hardware is aged, with weathering and some rust protruding to bring the look of an old instrument that been around for decades. Neck is satin finish, with a skunk stripe, chunky D profile. Superb condition Classic Series '72 Telecaster Custom (Made in Mexico). Hardly used - virtually as new. Everything functions perfectly and is in excellent condition - there are no marks on the guitar of any significance whatsoever and there are none of the typical belt buckle marks at the back of the guitar you often find with used guitars. Bought brand new in October for over £800. I've hardly used it, however, as I've kept it to one side as my "best guitar" and use my Strat and Casino instead on a daily basis. Now looking to sell to help fund family holiday. Classic Series '72 Telecaster Custom combines the tradition of a single-coil bridge pickup with the supercharged sound of a humbucking neck pickup.
