I'm an instrument maker and repairer and t his is a custom 5 string electric mandolin I have recently finished in metallic blue,  The specs are - Solid swamp ash lightweight body, string through body construction, finished in durable 'sunset orange' satin shimmer custom USA motorcycle paint. Hard rock maple neck with adjustable truss rod finished with vintage tint lacquer. Split shaft vintage tuners (max.056" bottom C). Nickel plated 4 bolt neck plate with serial no. Indian rosewood radiused fingerboard with boxwood dots and side markers Nickel medium vint. frets tortoiseshell pickguard Custom wound alcomax 5 string neck pickup with nickel cover Custom wound alcomax 5 string bridge pickup Custom bridge assembly with one piece adjustable solid brass saddle Side mounted vint. tele style jack 3 way selector, volume and tone control all the parts, including pickups, nickel cover, scaled down bridge and control panel. knobs etc,.. pretty much all except the tuners, are handmade in my workshop in Northamptonshire. Tuning C/G/D/A/E, (so mandolin top 4, mandola bottom 4.) The action is low, intonation pre set adjusted and it sounds great, rings very nicely with great sustain, even if i do say so myself! It takes some considerable time and effort to make these  so £585 I believe is cracking good deal for a handmade instrument so highly spec'd but I am open to a resonable offer.  If you are interested but would like to try it out first that would certainly be ok. Custom made 5 string thru-neck Bass guitar – virtually unplayed and in absolutely mint condition

This bass was made for me in by James Huxley and since then it has had less than a few hours use, and has never been out of my house. It is in absolutely mint condition, as you can see from the photos. I made a mistake in getting a 5-string made – I could not get on with it, so I have only ever played it a few times at home, as I always play my 4-string. • Body wings are in mahogany with AAA grade quilted maple and contrasting 0.6mm veneer sandwich. • Multi-laminate neck of Rock Maple with contrasting 0.6 mm stringers. • Edgebound ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl dot markers on the face and the edge of the fingerboard. • Bartolini MV bright passive pickups with an 18v active harness. • Gold Schaller bridge & Gotoh tuning pegs, Gold strap buttons. • Hiscox hardcase. The 3 knobs at the bottom are Bass, Mid and Treble. The small 3-position switch below the knobs is for the mid-frequency selection. One of the 2 knobs just below the bridge is for blending the two pickups, and the other (Push-Pull) knob is for the Master volume and Active/Passive setting. 1 7/8 inches wide at the nut.....2 5/8 inches wide at the 12th fret.......35 inch scale. This is a custom made guitar by 'Sea Of Timber Guitars' "Luath" - meaning quick or fast in Gaelic This is a no nonsense guitar. With the single Humbucker, just plug in and play. The pick up is coil split giving single coil option. In standard humbucker mode the pickup offers a fat, punchy sound with plenty gain. Switch to coil split for single coil output for chiming, crisp tones. The Body is American swamp ash with a Tru Oil finish. The ash tone wood is light with a wide grain that the tru oil finish brings out. Nice Fender 4 String Precision Electric Bass Made in Mexico

I'm selling this nice Fender Precision Bass on behalf of my son. It was made in the Fender Ensenada Plant in Mexico in . The body colour looks like Midnight Wine or Candy Cola or Metallic Red - it's a dark metallic red anyway. There are a few marks here and there, and there's some slight buckle rash on the back. The frets, neck and rosewood fretboard are absolutely fine and it's a lovely players instrument. Any other white marks are reflections as it's very shiny and therefore hard to photograph!:-) As I say this my son's bass and I'm selling it on his behalf. PS it will need a new set of strings.
