This instrument is made according to old specs that were used back in 50s, to bring back the feel of what teles were back in the day. Body is full thickness alder with a thin nitro finish. PRS Custom 24 Makena Blue built in Maryland, USA in

Built in Maryland, USA at the end of , my PRs Custom 24 was one of the last run to be finished in Makenna Blue. I bought the guitar new and took delivery at the beginning of . It has pickups, an overwound version of the vintage sounding s. The five way toggle switch offers a variety of humbucking and single coil tones suitable for both rhythm and lead guitar, whether played clean or with a bit of dirt. The figured maple top looks gorgeous, whilst the mahogany body and neck are finished in a deeper blue with a dark rosewood fingerboard featuring abalone bird inlays, topped by Phase 3 Locking Tuners. The guitar has a floating bridge with tremolo. When I play my PRS Custom 24 with friends they say it is a beautiful guitar and will be heartbroken when they learn I have sold it. The guitar is in excellent condition and comes in its original hard case with a PRS guitar strap, 4 sets of Dunlop nickel wound guitar strings and all the original documentation etc. The lucky buyer will need to collect the guitar from me. For sale is this Fender USA American Vintage Hot Rod Telecaster, made in . These are no longer available to buy and are becoming more sought after. Cost c. £ new The guitar is in excellent condition, with only a couple of small marks on the body as shown in the photos. All original, except the stock Seymour Duncan Gibson Firebird type mini-humbucker neck pickup was removed by a previous owner and a high spec. Gibson Burstbucker installed. This replacement Gibson pickup alone is worth c.£100. The original mini-humbucker is also provided, it's in the case. Comes complete with original hard case in almost unmarked condition, plus all hangtags, key for case etc. that originally came with the guitar. This guitar has a fantastic, quite large (but not full baseball bat) neck, and the frets are in excellent shape with hardly any wear. All switches & pots function correctly with no buzzes or scratches. Plays beautifully, quite powerful gutsy vintage tone from both pickups, which are quite hot. The current neck humbucker blends beautifully with the bridge pickup in the middle position, and both pickups sound great pon their own. Has had a recent pro-setup with 10s, and is solid as a rock. Feel free to try it out, my amp is a Laney VC15 small valve amp, or bring your own.
