Lovely 2 berth cabin cruiser/ Day boat with Motor and Trailer

For Sale is my lovely boat Mayhem. She is 5M 2 berth GRP cabin cruiser Day boat in extremely good condition. She has a 9.9 Hp Yamaha, Electric start outboard and Yamaha 703 Remote with safety switch and isolator. The motor has hardly been used, probably no more than 25 hours running in total and has only been used in fresh water on the broads and previously on the Ooze. Self serviced earlier this year. She is mounted on a Swift, Single Axle, Braked, tilting Trailer in excellent condition with new spare wheel. She is clean and tidy throughout and can sleep two people. the lockable cabin has interior light, cushions, curtains, starage boxes, small folding wall table and porta potty for the ladies. She has a new battery, 10 litre portable fuel tank, electric automatic bilge pump and Navigation lights. All electrics and steering linkage is in full working order. Two auxillary 12v sockets on the steering dash for phone charge or other. She is registered for the broads and has a BSS certificate valid until . Externally she is tidy but does require a rub down and a new antifouling coat. I will include the antifoul paint along with primer and a can of topside paint. Includes the 9.9hp Mariner engine (electric and pull start) which is about 4yrs old, so almost new with only a few hours running up and down the river. Also includes 3 extra engines for spares or repair. 1 x 15hp Honda outboard. Actually a good engine but the gears need attention. 1 x 9.9 Honda outboard and 1x 7.5hp Honda outboard. Many interchangeable parts so both engines should make a running engine. All above engines have controls and linkages included. The boat itself has been out of the water on dry dock for just over 18 months and the pictures were taken just before it was taken out of the water. the bottom has been jet-washed and is awaiting a coat of anti-fowling paint and the cabin exterior and deck would like a lick of paint. This boat has been loved by us for over 15 years, but we have bought a bigger boat and this one needs to go. The exterior looks a little sorry due to being left in a boatyard for 18months, but it is mostly just cosmetics, paint and general boaty upkeep jobs. We simply do not have the time. Theres as little or as much work to do as one would like. Rincewind could go in the water straight away exactly how it is or it can make a great little project for anything from a bit of tidying up to total restoration. The cabinis fitted mainly origional due to the grp constructio, so the seats are moulded as part of the boat with the origional cushions. I covered the cushions myself, put in the curtains myself and lined the roof with oakfaced ply. This was mostly done when I bought the boat, so quite a while ago. Still in acceptable condition and perfectly habitable for a nights sleep or it could be completely reffitted by the new owner. Cabin height is unusually high for a 20ft boat I am 5'8" and can almost stand upright inside, so more headroom than a lot of boats of this size. Cabin also has an enclosed area for the portaloo (included). Door opens to make a partial partition from the cabin. WOULD BE WILLING TO SELL BOAT WITHOUT THE 9.9HP MARINER. Seamaster 21.this is a project boat.it is afloat currently moored up 0n the river lea in tottenham,north london. It has 3 and a half year boat safety certificate. I purchased this boat 6 months ago with the intention of refitting the inside and doin some work to the outside so i could resell it. Iv since landed a fulltime job n its just sat there so time to sell.These boats can go for plus with a good refit. It has original gelcoat which is in good condition.the boat was delivered to me via trailer so i saw the hull and it is in good condition. the inside as u can see has been stripped back so needs complete refit.inc is original stainless steel sink n foam for seats.Has brand new battery in the back for starting the outboard motor. The motor was working fine but has developed a problem where it will not suck petrol up from petrol can into motor.so will not start.im sure a few hours or less tinkering will sort the problem.if not i know a really friendly boat mechanic who will pull up beside the boat n easily fix the problem.30£ first hour 20 hour therre after.there is a slight leak from where petrol tube attaches to engine.The poles that hold the canopy up need attention.easy diy fix.the canopy door on 1side needs re sewn.the canopy is only few years old n appart from door needing sewn in great condition. The bars at front of boat need repaired or replaced and some external wood needs replaced.insurance for this boat cost £ month n river licence 160£ for 6 months. i hv the boat safety certificate, original receipt,copy of past river licence.. We also realised that handling locks would be unthinkable. It is moored 50 miles away from me, at Stoke on Trent, because for obvious reasons, we couldn't bring it nearer without it being lifted out of the water and carried on a trailer or whatever, plus we would still have the same problem. I will be there over the weekend for anyone wanting to view the boat by arrangement, but I have already made a special trip there, only for them not to even turn up, so viewing will have to be when I am going anyway.
