This sale is for a custom hand built electric guitar, crafted in London. The guitar has been hand painted in blue metallic pearl with olympic white stripes. The neck has 22 frets and has a light oil coating to give it a satin, ultra-smooth finish for unmatched playability. The guitar has been lightly distressed to give it that played in feeling. The guitar comes with standard hardware but also available is an upgrade pack with upgraded pickups, tremolo system, electronics and nut. Fender Mexican Dave Murray Iron Maiden Stratocaster I built this guitar myself from genuine Fender parts. Plays nicely and will give you the classic Dave Murray tone from the first 5 Iron Maiden albums. Body Fender MIM Stratocaster, chrome 6 screw bridge with cold rolled solid steel big block for sustain. Body originally was candy apple red and was professionally resprayed Fender black. Some dings show the red paint underneath. The largest ding (3mm) is on the front body above the middle pickup. A plectrum has been used in the photo to show the size of the ding. Otherwise, she looks stunning. Neck Fender MIM Stratocaster Classic Player 50's neck, soft V profile, 9.5" radius, vintage locking tuners, minimal fret wear Used condition with a few dings. Minimal fret wear, from a smoke free home. Electronics are fully working. It has an aged cherry finish which shows off the select premium ash body, plus a highly figured birds-eye maple neck. It is genuinely jaw-dropping. Lovely set-up and plays brilliantly with a nice action – it sounds unbelievable and is everything you’d expect from a top of the range custom shop strat - it just doesn't get better really. Condition is excellent with the only thing to mention being a small blemish which is barely noticeable unless you are searching for it - see pic. Fender Custom Shop Custom Deluxe USA Stratocaster Made in Fender's American Custom Shop - Stunning Select Ash Body - Very nicely figured flamed maple neck (photos really don't do it justice - it's genuinely the most beautiful neck i've ever seen on a guitar) - frets and a lovely neck (called the '65 neck profile) - Neck and middle pickups are signed and dated Abigail handwound 69 pickups and the Bridge pickup is Custom Shop Texas Special - needless to say, it sounds absolutely incredible and plays like a dream. Comes with the original custom shop hardcase and all the case candy including certificate Condition is fantastic, with the only thing to note is a slight ding on the bottom side (which you don't see when playing etc) which has been touched up nicely and isn't noticable unless you are looking for it. Overall it's just a fantastic specimen from the Custom Shop - and you can really feel the love that's been poured into it by it's makers - incredible craftsmanship. Cash on collection preferred from Leicester (LE7) or potentially my workplace in Nottingham (NG2). I can also courier anywhere in the UK, or Internationally, but if you require this couriering then it will be 100% at your own risk. I am happy to arrange a courier or equally happy for you to arrange your own, and I will pack the guitar thoroughly using a proper guitar box and a hell of a lot of padding to ensure it's bombproof in transit. Slightly thicker neck than usual which is a real bonus and has no fret wear and it plays beautifully. Fantastic sound from the quality components lifted from my Fender Standard Special Edition, Oak Grigsby 5-way, cts pots orange drop caps and fender pickups and control knobs, new quality pickguard and new pickup covers.
