Fun, cuddly female black cat, 4 years old, for adoption
My 90 year old grandmother, Joan, is goinstrong>g to hospital instrong> two weeks and will no longer be able to look after her lovely cat Sooty, so we're lookinstrong>g for a perfect and deservinstrong>g home for her instrong> Sussex. Sooty was a very young stray cat, almost a kitten, when she wandered instrong>to my grandmothers garden about 4 years ago and asked to come instrong>side. Sinstrong>ce then she's become the most affectionate, funstrong>ny, cuddlystrong> cat we've ever met. She's highly instrong>telligent, perceptive and instrong>-tune with the people around her, but is also used to her instrong>dependence and goinstrong>g instrong> and out of her garden to play durinstrong>g the day. She's not really had the attention she needs and craves, due to Joan's bereavement and declinstrong>instrong>g health over the last couple of years, but she's only young and would make the most gorgeous companion for someone who has the time and love to give her. She's easy goinstrong>g and tolerant of dogs (although we'd prefer her to go to a home without other pets) and could be suited to a young retired person or couple, or maybe a family with older children. Sooty is about 4 years old, black, short haired with a fluffyish tail, loves tuna instrong> brinstrong>e and havinstrong>g her belly rubbed. She must have access to a garden as she loves playinstrong>g outside (she has caught the occasional mouse I'm afraid, but never brinstrong>gs them instrong>to the house!) This is a truly special cat. My mother, aunt or I would all love to keep her, but we already have our own pets and just can't take her instrong>. She must be adopted withinstrong> the next two weeks, so please give me a call if you thinstrong>k you could take her and give her a good home. It would be wonderful if you'd be willinstrong>g to keep instrong> touch for a few months and let us know how she's settlinstrong>g instrong> and how you've fallen instrong> love with her!
