Riding for the Disabled Volunteers Wanted
Leeds Area Riding for the Disabled are looking for volunteers to help with our weekend sessions. We have lessons on Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon, Sunday morning and Sunday afternoon. Do I need to know anything about horses? No. RDA provides training for all its volunteers depending on the role you undertake. Do I need previous experience? Not necessarily. RDA has many different types of roles, most of which don’t require any experience. Of course, if you do have skills you’d like to share with us – we’d love to hear from you! How old do I have to be to Volunteer? Volunteers have to be 12 or over. There is no upper age limit. RDA is an approved activity provider of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and volunteering can help towards the award at all levels. For members of The Pony Club, volunteering can count towards the RDA Pony Club Achievement Badge. If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch!! Read More
