The Victorian copper lustre jug is 11cm tall and 13cm from spout to handle. Copper lustre was made to reflect candle and firelight and they look lovely in a room at night.This jug is in good condition with no damage to the spout or handle, some marks on the copper finish as you would expect with age, some marks inside too. Today they make excellent indoor or outdoor planters. The rivets are also solid copper. There are some very small tear marks at the top of this planter - However this does not affect it structurally. This is an ancient stick which has 12 visitors badges riveted to it, from top to bottom they are, Saltburg,which is the largest and is in the form of a stags head. Tirol, Innsbruck Tyrol, Venezia, kanzel Bahn, St Petersberg, Villach karnten, Satzburg, Mariaworth Karnten, Taverntunnel-Lange m, Rennel Rennero m, and finally Telldenkmal. Some of these badges are really nice works of art in themselves having been enamelled onto either brass or alluminium. The cane has a steel ferral with a spike type end to it obviously for the icy conditions that the stick was used in. Read More
