Daisy is a unregistered section a pony I am selling as a companion. I’ve had daisy 2 1/2 years, when we got her she was ferral. Over them years we have worked on her confidence and she’s now better than ever although she does take a while to get used to anyone. She also doesn’t really like men after past experiences and Ian head shy around her ears. She’s never kicked or been nasty in any way. Companion / In Hand / Riding Project Pony - 11.1hh Section A

This is a very sad sale of our beautiful and lovable family pony. Starlight is a registered section A, five year old mare, measuring 11.1hh. She has been taken through preliminary education of lunging, long reining and has been lightly and successfully shown in hand in . Starlight has been led at walk with my four year old daughter. This has been in the school and on short walks around the lanes. She is not a spooky animal. When many others would shy she doesn't. She is very mature in many ways. She is sharp and forward going but does listen to voice and is very light on the lead. She will need training and breaking in before being taken out for rides with a child on. We have not yet worked on trot when ridden and she has been out of work for winter. We are just starting to work her again and she is happy to be back in training. Up to date with tetanus, worming and teeth. She is good with farrier and to load. She is in excellent health and is very affectionate with the whole family and all the animals; dogs, ducks, chickens & sheep. With training, a confident and experienced leader and love she will excel in whatever she does in the future. She is a perfect companion pony and with the right training would excel as a ridden pony. I can also see her as a potential driving pony. I have had many hours of fun doing my own liberty sessions with her because she naturally wants to follow people and this is something she enjoys. This is a very difficult and sad decision to part with such a beautiful and the most affectionate pony that I've ever known. House move and loss of grazing forces sale. companion pony/childs lead rein pony in Maesteg

this is my sweet little blue, his is older than most but please dont let that put you off as this little fella does not act it at all, he 23 years young, he does how ever have a little arthritis in his legs which is ok as long as he isnt left out over the winter, a little devils claw does the trick if he gets a little stiff, other wise a happy go lucky pony will come with rugs, he loads good with farrier in and out of stable, he is free to a 5* home which will be vetted, all i ask is a donation for the welsh horse and pony rehoming charity as he was a rescue him self, he is passported but not chipped, ive put him as a mountain and moreland but passport says he is an spot, not sure where they got that from but that is what it says, this is hard for me but i just can not keep him any more due to ill health, so if you could offer by boy a forever home please contact me please no time wasters

11hh welsh section A pony club lead rein pony

Our beloved pony Barney is sadly up for sale after 7 great years. All my children have ridden him from being toddlers and he has been their first pony so this is such a sad sale. He enjoys being worked and will whinny when he sees you bringing tack so it's unfair on him to be left without a job. I am advertising him as a lead rein pony as this is what he prefers in a schooling situation as he can be nappy without his leader in the arena and he much prefers having mum or dad to walk beside or even run in front. He will hack out perfectly off the lead and goes off your voice. He has been ridden around hopton x country off the lead and on the farnley ride and Escrick park. He will jump small jumps and has got a good jump but it's not something he enjoys. He is just ridden now and then at the moment but he is exactly the same ride how ever long he is left. Barney has been involved with all pony club activities including mounted games, mini camp, mini cross country, lessons and jumping with my daughter from being age 5. He has competed on the mini mounted games for 2 seasons on the lead and did wetherby weekend this year off the lead in the junior team and did great. Totally unfazed with a busy environment and does not get silly or excitable, he's very happy to stand on the line and just wait his turn and knows the equipment. When at shows he just stands patiently and nods off. He will ride and lead and is responsive to voice commands which is great for teaching little ones to canter on the lead. A shout of whoa quickly brings him back to walk! We've stayed away at shows and he is happy to be corralled in an pen and will not stress if left on his own, he just enjoys being out and having a job to do. He can be a bit grumpy to handle and will pull the odd face. He will live out with a shelter or come in at night and he is happy with both. He is very clean in the stable and will poo in a bucket at the back! He can be left for weeks and then ridden and he is exactly the same, just steady away. Companion Pony /Show Handy Pony

It is with a very heavy heart that we are offering our 11.2 Welsh section A as a companion pony due to finding out that she has a poorly heart and can no longer be put under pressure when ridden off the lead rein. Betsy is only 8 years old and both my 6 year old daughter and son have had her for 2 years taking her from lead rein to first ridden but sadly we have been told on a routine vet visit that the reason she is not going forward with ease when cantering and jumping is because of her heart. She is a lovely little mare and we would dearly like to find her a 5* home where she could live out the rest of her days maybe even doing a few handy pony classes (which she loves) as she is good at being handled by children. Section a pony club pony

Dylan is a 9 yr old section a gelding. he is an absolute little star in every single way and has been a perfect best friend for my 2 daughters aged 9 and 7 but due to pregnancy and other horses it is time for him to find another little family that will love him as much as we do and have more time to get him out and about doing stuff as he is beyond bored standing in the field doing nothing. Dylan is great to handle by adult and children alike, he comes to call, great to load and travel in lorry or trailer, stables nicely but also happy to live out 24/7, fab for the farrier for a trim or shoes, nice to rug, groom, clip and bath. He can be ridden by beginners or experienced riders, thrives with a competant little rider and really shows what he is capable of, but will happily plod the field with a beginner. This pony must go to a home where he will be used, he has been shown and can jump, he has been over rustic and poles. 3 year old Welsh Cob (Section D) companion/project

I have a 3 year old Welsh Cob (section D) for sale through no fault of his own but I don't have the time this boy deserves. He is one of the most loving youngsters I have ever come across, he will follow you round the field all day, loves to be groomed and fussed and will make anyone a lovely pet. Spencer will be ready to start his education soon eg lunging but still has a lot of growing and filling out to do. The only fault with this pony is the farrier, I can pick up all 4 of his feet but when the farrier comes he gets very distressed but with time and patience he has let the farrier trim his feet, he just needs to trust the farrier as I think he has had a bad experience.
