I have a really lovely gentle cob who is looking for a companion home as he can no longer be ridden. He is 15hh, Irish chestnut cob, 11 years old - gelding. He is easy to do in all ways to handle, lead, shoe, box etc and can happily be turned out with geldings or mares. He is up to date with vaccinations, worming, teeth and shoes. I am looking to find him a forever home where he can keep another horse or pony company but will need assurance that he will not be moved on as he is so kind natured. He is slightly arthritic but fine for very light hacking only, semi retirement but short hacks are fine and the exercise does him good His tack is available to go with rugs available to go for a nominal fee. sparky (sparky buds dude) is a registered AQUA quarter horse who has bouts of lameness due to a ddft injury. Farmers wife will shortly be offering a permanent retirement home to nice ploddy safe cob 16 years + and 15.2hh + This will be an end of life home. She/he must be able to be ridden by 60's lady who suffers from chronic fatigue. I have trouble mounting and dismounting, so must be good at the mounting block. I have 2 x late twenties mares at the moment, which you can see if you wish to visit. The last mare came to me in awful condition, had been badly neglected, but she is happy now, gradually putting on weight, but sadly has very few teeth!
