Collie X for rehoming

Collie X for rehoming

I'm looking to rehome chunks, he's a collie cross, aged 4. He's crate trained and has been brought up in a family home. Unfortunately I took him in and fostered him and his brother when his owner moved into sheltered accommodation and have had him ever since. He needs a new home and a new owner who can give him everything he needs. New owner must be allowed pets and must have a garden space for him. Rehoming is subject to house checks. Ad ID:

ozzy is an 18 month old colliex alsation. black and white I have many more photos but wont let me upload he is a large dog and can be bousterous and excitable. as I am now disabled were are struggling to give him what he needs with living in a flat. we have given this some serious thought and its breaking my heart to let him go. he isn't keen on other dogs and will need to be the only pet with someone that can give him what he needs. we tried dog trainer but even after our best efforts and my deteriorating health we just cant manage. I will want to keep in contact with him in the long term as I just cant bare to loose that attachment so would like to keep him close if possible. Ad ID:

Lovely boy for rehoming. My sister is in a bit of a situation. She has 2 children under 3 years old and has recently been through a hard time and decided to get a family dog - she looked for weeks and found a nice collie x German shepherd on Facebook for rehoming. She liased with the owner and took "Buster" (16months old) on for what she thought was agreed as a trial period. From day 1 she knew it was way too much for her to cope - and realised she had made a mistake and it is too soon for her to take on a dog. Buster is brilliant with children. He is very energetic (probably the collie in him) and NEEDS training with manners etc - he is possessive over his toys and chews but this should be trained out of him with time and patience. He is fully toilet trained and doesn't steal food from tables or anything. He has a few toys and plastic bed with him. My sister messaged the owner after Day 1 and said she cannot cope and is extremely sorry but she does need to return him - the owner absolutely refused to take him back and said she cannot cope with her two young children and him anymore My sister is now in an awful situation and wants him to have a good home but at the same time needs him gone ASAP - she's very down about the whole situation He is not neutered and is overpowering to dogs he meets in the park but is not aggressive. He needs to be neutered ASAP He needs an owner who can walk him twice a day, and train him. He loves people and will watch everyone all day - he is an amazing dog and does not deserve to be in this situation If ANYONE can help today or knows of a registered charity then please contact me - he has been at her home for under a week and she cannot cope anymore We are in North Somerset and anyone in the South west that can help would be great Thank you Read More

Puppy For Sale, Labrador x Border Collie, 5 months old, rehoming

Cassie is an adorable, kind, friendly female Labrador x Border Collie who is in need of a family who have more time to provide her with the care she deserves. She is 5 months old and we are looking to rehome her as our schedules are unfortunately not what we thought they'd be when we got her. She has loads of energy, a great attitude, and is good with other dogs and amazing with people. Knows a couple of commands (sit, paw, lie down, come) though can forget them when excited. She's coming along with her house training but is still an excitable little pup so requires patience. Comes with pet gate, crate, toys, bowls, and some food. Ad ID:

Here is the sweetest 2yr old collie intact male. This lovely boy came to us through no fault of his own. Sadly his owner became so depressed that he couldn't face leaving the house and therefore could not give this lovely guy any kind of life. Most dogs that come to us have big issues but this gorgeous boy has absolutely none. The only thing is that he has lived outside all of his life therefore is not house trained. He needs to go where he can either be trained to work sheep or to a small holding with lots of land and ideally live outside. He would suit someone with horses as he would run alongside in the fields I'm sure! He has sadly been bitten by another dog here recently so has a few war wounds on his face. These will and are healing. He loves water, travels great and is fantastic on and off the lead. He ignores our chickens, cows, horses and although has shown interest in sheep will stop immediately when told.(Just runs around them on the odd occasion, which is his natural instinct. Please note he DOES NOT pester or bite at them) If you feel that you could offer this beautiful dog a life long home then please message me. please genuine enquiries only Many thanks

Collie rescue for rehoming in Bude

This gorgeous welch collie came to us several months ago. He is 11 months old and has been castrated. Unfortunately he came to us as he had nipped a child whilst they were eating crisps! He originally lived in a house but whilst with us lives outside with the other rescue dogs, so he should remember about house training although we can not be sure! When he first arrived he was very unsure and it took a few weeks for him to gain our trust! He is now as daft as a brush, very affectionate and we trust him completely. He would ideally be looking for a rural home/ small holding or a farm where he could possibly be trained to work sheep and cattle. He is still young and will need to continue basic training. Only because of his history nipping a child, it would be preferred that the home didn't have small children. He is brilliant with all of the dogs that he has met here, and is also great with the horses, chickens, sheep and cows! Please Pm if you think that you may have a home that would suit him.

This lovely castrated welch collie is looking for a new home. He is months and came to us as the owner couldn't spend the time with him that he needed. I did post him the other day and said he had nipped a child, this is NOT the case, it was my error. However this lovely dog had issues going into a crate and would bite out, he also had an issue with ironing boards!! The other issue was that he picked on the owners other small elderly dog, whether this was over doing the puppy play "who knows" but as you can see from the image he is great with my Yorkshire terriers. The crate issue is no longer and he happily takes himself in for the night with absolutely no fuss. He is great with all the dogs here and with the cows, sheep, lambs, chickens and horses. He would love a home with land and maybe another dog/dogs for company and to play with. He lives outside here but has lived in previous to us. This lovely boy has come on so much with us and now just needs somewhere for life. He will take a while to get to know you and trust you, but when he does he will be the most loyal dog that you could ever wish for. It is really important that anything new to him needs to be introduced slowly as he can loose confidence quite quickly. Please genuine enquiries only. Many thanks

2 simply gorgeous pups! 1 boy and 1 girl. Mum is a traditional working beardie collie so not the same as show beardies in that she has a shorter coat. Dad is a short coated blue-faced collie. Pups have medium/short coats will not be longcoated as a typical beardie collie. Male pup has blue face like his dad. Female has typical border collie markings. Both very friendly sweet natures. Microchipped and wormed to date. Parents can be seen. Very special pups looking for very special homes.

Gorgeous Orange is on the look out for an incredibly special home of his own. Orange is 5 year old Rough Collie x Border Collie and has been rescued from a kill shelter, unfortunately the abuse of his past his very evident as he arrived in rescue terrified of humans. He's made steady progress whilst in foster but is still incredibly nervous of people so will need an understanding home willing to work with him on these trust issues. He is starting to settle in a home environment but originally found it very strange and unsettling so we can only assume he has never lived in one before. However he has not had one accident in the house and is very clean. He does require a crate when left though as he likes to investigate things. Orange is absolutely fantastic with dogs and cats and ideally needs to live with another confident dog (or dogs) to show him the way. He has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and is subject to a homecheck and adoption fee. He will also come with 4 weeks free insurance and a voucher for a box of free food. Read More

Welsh Collie, Rehoming

Re homing our beloved Welsh Collie due to no fault of her own, she does have special requirements and will only go to the right home that fulfils her full needs and gives time into training her. I will require a house check to make sure the home is right for her and if you aren't happy with this then the dog isn't for you. She's such a loveable dog and deserves so much love and attention in her life. She ideally needs to work around sheep and do what working Collies do best. She needs to be free and learn basic rules and be taught by an older Collie. She has been to he vet for her check up and all is good, she went to visit the vet on the 25th of July, was wormed and flead that day too. She is microchipped and fully up to date with vaccinations. Meet fly, She's very loyal brilliant at listening and loves cuddles and the fuss. We rescued fly a few weeks back she come to us all skin and bones. Her previous owner sold her due to a house move and couldn't take his dogs with him, Fly might need some physio later on in the year as she dose walk abit funny, however bring very under weight it might be due to that and once she's gained weight and had the exercise she needs she maybe ok, but we can say for sure until the weight has been gained. Fly needs a lot of love and one on one attention, she needs reassurance through out every activitie from getting on the Sofa to eating her food, fly is still a long way of being the dog she should be. We have been feeding her breakfast at 8am then another meal at followed by a meal at 3pm and one at 6:30, we have been out her on 4 meals just to giver her all the goodness and nutrition she needs. She had been kenneld in her previous home so will need to be toilet trained however this will take longer than most as she is still very nervous. Fly loves going out on walks she's a complete different dog out on a walk, She's still very interested and curious about everything in the big wide world. We found out don't fly loves a stick to be thrown for her so this is a massive step forward with her training as we praise her with a stick even for going outside for a wee. She's had a litter of pups 3 months ago so her breasts arw still sagged down however with exercise and weight gain they will Change. She is great with other dog small or large, not sure on cats as there isn't many around where we live so I wouldn't advise her going to a home with cats. The reason she is up for rehoming is our oldest dear lilly the jack Russel has been very unsettled theses two weeks and isn't fair for her to be kept in different rooms, this is nothing against fly and she has tried to make friend but the jack Russell isn't having any of it. A home check with be taken place as she's needs a 5*home All we ask in return is too keep in touch Ad ID:

Beautiful Labrador x mastiff who has just turned 1. Only looking for someone who has atleast one other dog, as she just wants a dog best friend! I'm at university so I'm finding it hard to give her the time that she needs and she just absolutely loves dogs! She is so friendly and cuddly and is a bit bigger than a lab. She cuddles with you when at home and she absolutely loves her exercise! She is excellent off the lead and has never showed any signs of aggression. A home check is a must and a meet of button and your dog/dogs is also a must so that I can see she is happy and the dogs get along. Very loving dog. He has grown up around children but he can be giddy so we would think he would be suited to going to a family with possible older children but no younger as he is quite bouncy! This is my little baby, he's 1 and a half, castrated male. He's my life, however he has severe separation anxiety and can't be caged or shut in a room. I got him as a rescue dog, and I tried so hard. I was his 4th home. He's so much better than he was but I'm not home 24/7 and that's what he needs, he can be left with another dog. He's amazing with children of all ages, all animals, horses the lot. I take him everywhere off lead but he does walk lovely on lead too. Loves to play fetch!! He's a proper family dog, as long as he's never alone. Please message me for any more info, he needs the best home. Read More
