Collie dog for sale. I have had him from a rescue place so not sure of age but we think he is about 7 now. He has started to not get along with our other collie and has started to keep running off. We have had him over 2 years but he just seems unhappy with us now. I would like to see him go to a good home where he can have plenty of walks he is a nervous dog with a very gentle nature would be better suited in a calm household with no other dogs. It breaks my heart to do this, to put up for sale my gorgeous boy KC Craileeau Like Goild Dust aka Brek, and I want him to be sold to an experienced Border Collie breeder who will use him for breeding. He is proven, the father of a litter of 7 puppies. He is eye tested for PRA, CE and CEA clear and BAER tested pass in both ears. His parents Cassieflocks Blue Frost and his mother Romanybay Fields of Joy are both hip scored. Brek was born December 31st . When Brek was born several breeders expressed a desire to use him on their bitches when he was old enough as KC registered Shaded Sables are very, very hard to find. My reason for selling this beautiful dog is that try as we might, he detests my husband and the feeling is mutual. I have tried on many occasions to bring the two of them together to no avail, they both distrust the other and it is such a shame for Brek has shown no animosity to strangers who have come to see his puppies, and he plays quite happily with my 16 other Border Collies. We have sadly had to admit that our Sprollie, Dexter needs a new forever home. Sadly we need to rehome quite soon as Our other dog does not get on with him. Dexter is a neutered male and will be 5 years old in December . We adopted him when he was 1 year old from an Army family who were relocating to Australia. He is a very loving dog and enjoys hugs on the sofa (or on the bed). He tends to jump up at people entering the house and is very excitable. He is very good at alerting us of people approaching the house so are useful as a deterrent for unwanted visitors. He is very good with children and make a great companion for them, he is loves he hugs with our daughter at bedtime. Living with other dogs will be ok if introduced properly into the family. We are asking for £100 for him andhe will each come with a collar, lead, food bowl and food enough to last a few days.

I bred this dog and I adore him, and he adores me, and it really does tear at my heart strings to place him up for sale but in his best interests I have to look beyond what is best for me and think about what is best for him long term. He is an intact male and ideally if another breeder could buy him that would be superb. I understand that KC registered shaded sables are rare in the UK, and he would produce stunning puppies. He has lived in kennels for the 16 months of his life and has had the run of 7 acres with 16 other Border Collies, including his parents who are both hip scored and eye tested and hearing tested. This dog is also eye tested clear and hearing tested pass but as yet not hip scored. He is fully innoculated and microchipped and his full KC name is Craileeau Like Gold Dust. His kennel name is Brek. His problem, or indeed the problem I face with him is that he detests my husband most aggressively. We have tried and tried to sort it but every chance he gets Brek will run behind my husband and lunge in at great speed mouth open and savagely bite his backside. No one else seems to get this treatment, but Brek is wary of some people and quite welcoming with others. I have owned a fair few problem dogs in the last 44 years but never one that has intensely disliked my husband, and it has become a problem for obviously my husband wants this dog gone off the property for obvious reasons, and I have to respect that. So I am seeking someone with a great deal of experience in a dog like Brek, someone who has the time and the patience and the skill to bring the best out in Brek and to keep it out, and to change his behaviour. I find that although Brek loves and adores me, I am conscious of his behaviour toward my husband and fearful for the sake of my grandchildren, who have never met Brek, and hopefully never will, but nonetheless the concern is always at the back of my mind. I know that Brek would in time make someone a fabulous dog, someone with the knowledge and skill to make him so. I am happy to negotiate on the price. I am in no hurry to sell him, I can work things out so that my husband and Brek largely stay apart, but that would mean kennelling Brek more than I would like, but nonethless while I await the right person, that is what has to be done. I did have someone come to see him but he sensed something was up and no way no how would he go near this lady, he was wary and kept his distance, not even coming to me while she stood near and of course she went away without him. Lovely boy for rehoming. My sister is in a bit of a situation. She has 2 children under 3 years old and has recently been through a hard time and decided to get a family dog - she looked for weeks and found a nice collie x German shepherd on Facebook for rehoming. She liased with the owner and took "Buster" (16months old) on for what she thought was agreed as a trial period. From day 1 she knew it was way too much for her to cope - and realised she had made a mistake and it is too soon for her to take on a dog. Buster is brilliant with children. He is very energetic (probably the collie in him) and NEEDS training with manners etc - he is possessive over his toys and chews but this should be trained out of him with time and patience. He is fully toilet trained and doesn't steal food from tables or anything. He has a few toys and plastic bed with him. My sister messaged the owner after Day 1 and said she cannot cope and is extremely sorry but she does need to return him - the owner absolutely refused to take him back and said she cannot cope with her two young children and him anymore My sister is now in an awful situation and wants him to have a good home but at the same time needs him gone ASAP - she's very down about the whole situation He is not neutered and is overpowering to dogs he meets in the park but is not aggressive. He needs to be neutered ASAP He needs an owner who can walk him twice a day, and train him. Colin is a beautiful boy whom we rescued from a shelter in Romania. He is only approx 3yrs old, now fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.
