This is a single (chain driven) fusee wall clock that I am told was once a Bank's clock. I have no evidence of this but it would be easy to imagine this clock hanging on the wall of a bank and it is of superb quality. The 12 inch dial and the case are in very good condition as is the movement and it comes complete with the winding key and a key the opens both side doors the bottom door and the brass bezel door. This is a truly magnificent clock made by William Cromey of Bristol in superb condition measuring 36 inches tall by 25 inches wide with a 16 inch dial. Please don't underestimate the size and weight of this beautiful clock. Beautiful Antique Astral 10" Fusee, Mahogany School Wall Clock A key wound english fusee driven wall clock, Stamped, Coventry, Astral, ... believed to be circa , with roman numerals, an 8 day movement, with a 10in dial. original english fusee, although the spring was replaced approx 25 years ago and the clock face needs a bit of tlc (shown in pictures). The mahogany case is in really good condition and nicely aged also the original 4 pegs holding the case are still intact. The brass bezel and glass are both in excellent condition.
