BLACK BARNSBY GRIP PAD QUILTED SADDLE PAD. Full size. Needs no straps to secure it to saddle as the underside of it has grips that keeps the pad in place. I have always found it very effective and extremely easy and quick to use when tacking up as it does away with the need of fiddling around with straps. The pad is slightly padded either side of the back (see photos) for the comfort of the horse. Ideal for use on a youngster or for those whose time is precious! In used condition and subsequently has a few marks on edging. Very well-made.   Only for sale as I have sold both my horses and retired from riding, so over the next few days I shall be listing many really good quality equestrian items (all full-size) so please mark me as a favourite seller to receive notifications as to when I have more items for sale.   Any questions please just ask. Used Leather Barnsby GP saddle, 17 ½ inch seat, narrow to medium fit but with narrow gullet (stamped N). Forward cut, very comfortable VSD style saddle with the yellow piping. This saddle has been well looked after, it hasn’t been used for 4 years but was ‘serviced’ by professional saddler and re-flocked shortly before my horse went into retirement. Sound stitching with some usual wear and tear and discolouration of the leather on pommel and seat. Unfortunately the shop that the saddle has been for sale in has lost one of the buckle guards. Condition and approximate measurements reflected in the pictures. Please feel free to ask any questions. Originally purchased second hand some years ago for £650 and has been on sale in a local saddlery for £400 but I would just like to see it used again hence lower price.
