For sale our lovely 5 berth Bruce Roberts sailing yacht. We have had some amazing times with her but she is now looking for more adventure with a new Captain. Currently on the water in Gosport Hampshire. The Vessel - copied from last survey Bruce Roberts designed 34' sailing yacht. The year of build is believed to be circa . Overall length - 33.5' Waterline length - 24.5' Overall beam - ' Draft - 5.5' Displacement - 5 tons (approx) The hull was moulded in GRP with a straight raked stem, round bilges and a retrousse stern. The topsides were finished with a hard resin, white gelcoat that had been over painted in white. Below the waterline the hull was seen to be of moulded GRP shell, stiffened internally by stringers bonded to the interior and supported upon a steel 'H' frame. A Yanmar 3GM three cylinder, 30HP marine diesel drives a fixed three bladed propeller through a reduction gearbox and conventional shaft arrangement. Encapsulated fin keel, wheel steering through a 'skeg hung rudder' and self draining cockpit. Good points - she sleeps 5, forecabin has double berth, saloon area converts to double, pilot berth aft. Comes with two main sails, furling genoa and a cruising shute. Paraffin cooker, wet room with shower. Deck recently painted. VAT exempt, surveys and paperwork from . Not so good points - unfinished refit to front double cabin the basics are complete so new owner can choose final finish to their taste. Prelude 19 Sailing Yacht/ Boat/Cruiser on Trailer

If you are in the market for a sailing yacht but only have access to a shallow mooring then this may be a solution. Prelude 19 swinging keel yacht in GRP with original gelcoat on the hull, deck and coach roof. Manufactured by Rydgeway Marine circa , the same builders of the Pandora yacht range with many of its attributes. Berths for four in an open plan accommodation and a generous sized cockpit that seats four adults with locker space under the seats. All areas of the deck have non-slip mouldings in the gelcoat for grip in the wet. Swinging pendulum keel that draws 1.5ft when wound up and 4.5ft when lowered putting the ballast far into the water where you need it to provide stability. It is controlled from the helm position.The keel is an improvement on the mk1 version which moved up/down from a keel box. Nice little project cheap. The boat is sound and comes with mast rigging and sails. I took this boat as part exchange on another but I know very little about sailing. I was told that its a rare example as the top is made by Norman boats? You may know more than I. The insides are very basic and need a good clean and upholstery etc. Its missing a couple of hatch covers and the gelcoat has a few scuffs that may polish out. Its a very sturdy little bilge keeled example. I am told that the mast sails and rigging are worth more than Im asking for the lot.
