I am offering a rehoming service for reptiles that need new homes... Many people take on snakes or lizards and years down the road due to work or sickness or family obligations no longer have the time the amazing creatures need and deserve and need to rehomed them... I am offering to take these animals in on a temporary basis during which I will vet new homes and owners for them. Assuring that they go to a caring loving and knowledgeable/experienced home. This will include meeting the new owners face to face inspecting the new living areas and making sure the vivs are properly sized and regulated. And giving the potential owners half an hour with the animal to make sure they know how to properly handle them... This saves you the time and Hassel of finding a new home and prevents your beloved animals from ending up in the hands of some one who assumes because of the feeding frequency that snakes are easy pets to keep without doing the neccessary research first. I have temporary homes for snakes but any lizards will need to come with their vivarium... Here at C&J reptile services we now have four spaces available for any reptiles. We have twelve years experience keeping and caring for a wide range of reptiles such as monitor lizards, reticulated pythons, burmese pythons, royal pythons, BCI/BCC & Colubrids. We are able to offer spaces to reptiles that fall into any of the following catagories; - Problem Feeders. - Behavioural Problem. - Unwanted. We have had a huge amount of success with problem feeders turning round some touch and go reps that came to us on the brink! We also have plenty of experience and time in order to work with Snakes/Lizards that have behavioural issues. The burmese python pictured above with my son was named lucifer when we took him in due to him being completely un-handleable. After 4 months of hard work and a fair amount of bites, he is now a very tame boy who is handled by the whole family! We are a NON-profit service and Aim to provide the highest standard of care available, we are a FOREVER carehome, meaning we do not sell on any reptiles that come into our care, NO EXCEPTIONS. - All of our setups are connected to thermostats. - All bulbs are covered by purpose built bulb guards. - All decor is boiled and disinfected BEFORE entering the viv. - All reptiles are quarantined for a minimum of 8 weeks before entering the main room to minimise any risk of infection/disease spreading. We assess every new home and ensure that our animals are going to a great forever home! We not charge anything to pick up an injured/unwanted animal, nor do we charge anything if you drop an animal off to us. We are looking for any snakes/reptiles that may need to be re-homed due to varying circumstances. I am looking for a snake rack also I have been looking after reptiles for over 8 years now and i enjoy it as a hobby, so i have to offer my reptile re homing service I will take in any unwanted reptiles, reptile eggs, vivariums, accessories etc.... I do everything out of my own time, resources and out of my own pockets so any unwanted reptile vivariums, accessories etc donated are used to house any new reptiles we take in. We will either give your reptile a permanent home with ourselves or we will re home your reptile onto another owner If we decide to re home your reptile with another owner we will temporarily house your reptile for 1 - 3 months to assess the reptiles health, feeding etc to make sure they are healthy to be re homed After the assesment period we then look at re homing which involves a home visit to be sure we are happy with where the reptile will be living with its new owners, also we will make sure all living standards are excellent for the reptile so the reptile will be happy, and go theough the scheduled feeding plan and handling with the new owners to make sure everyone is happy but most important the reptile is happy Any unwanted eggs given to us, we will give the donater the option if they would like to keep one or two of the hatchlings for themselves once they have hatched and are all healthy Anything else please get in touch So if your reptile needs rehoming also get in touch and we will give them the loving home and best care you could find for your reptile or reptiles.
