A large 6 seater chunky dining table, made from sustainable cedar wood planks. It is waxed for a natural feel and has saw marks on the planks which are a part of the natural look of the table. We bought it for our new home from Indigo furniture in Matlock and it has been used for about 6 years but since we had some alterations on the house we reluctantly have to sell as we need a table which can be extended. It is in very good condition, apart from a few small knocks from children banging cutlery onto the surface but nothing obvious, it will last a lifetime and get better with age. Original Ercol Grand Windsor Extending Plank Dining Table Designed and made in England by Luciano Ercolani (Ercol) this table seats up to 10 when extended and 6 when not. The table top is elm with rounded corners and the tapered legs are beech. The base is two interlocking frames that slide apart to reveal the extending double leaf which slots into the extended table with dowels (these are all original and intact). The Ercol bolts (original and intact) then lock the extended table in place underneath. It’s fifth leg sits centrally and helps support the table when extended. The table top was re-polished in and is in excellent condition as a table top protector has always been used. The table legs have some scuff marks consistent with age and usage. Height of Table: 71cm Width of Table: 91cm Length of Table: Un-extended 153cm and Extended 225cm Ercol Goldsmith Chairs A set of 4 standard dining chairs and 2 carver dining chairs. The chairs feature turned beech spindle legs and backs and a solid elm seats. They are all neutrally upholstered. Although in very good condition some of the chairs have small dents and scuff marks consistent with their age and use and one of the chairs has some damage to the spindles.
