Welsummer hens are lovely birds, laying brown eggs. They make excellent back garden poultry as they are friendly and docile. Currently free range on grass. They are a medium sized bird. All birds sold by us are vaccinated. Vaccination certificates can be supplied if required. Parents are available for inspection. Please note, live birds cannot be ordered online and are collection ony from Warwickshire. We also supply several brands of layers pellets, mixed corn, bedding, feeders, drinkers, medication & treats for your girls. Price quoted here is an indication of the price at point of lay. Hello, I have two pullets (hens) for sale, about 5 months old and both have just started to lay. The pair were hand-reared from birth with two others that I'm keeping. They are hybrid hens, laying up to 320 brown eggs a year, unlikely to go broody, healthy and generally very friendly. They have free ranged a lot eating grass and insects etc. They are unnamed but know that a repeated teeth sucking or tongue clicking noise means to come for food. They aren't vaccinated but this isn't required for a small flock. Not to be separated. Good homes only.
