ACHILLES 24 PROJECT

I bought this yacht a few years back as a project, but never found the week or so required, and now we are moving so she has to go. She was being transported by road, but the trailer jackknifed and she was dumped heavily on her rudder and skeg forcing them upwards and opening a gash in the hull. The stanchions and wind generator were also damaged. She is complete with mast, rigging, sails etc; including a life raft and the generator. Interior there but scruffy. Cracking little boat and will be gutted to see her go but would rather see someone use her. She is nearly paid up in sunderland marina so could stay there till April next year or I could give you a mooring in the river with the boat, you would just need to join the club. Tamar 24 motor sailer project boat

Rescue this Tamar 24 motor sailer! She is offered as seen,with nothing vouched for or tested. The hull has no obvious flaws. Water ingress has damaged interior woodwork. The engine is not the original Perkins (which would be blue) but is a more recent 3 cylinder indirect cooled engine. As it is red it may be Beta. It is likely to have been damaged by water and would need reconditioning or rebuilding. She has a centre cockpit, wheel house, galley area, forecabin and aft cabin. At some point the heads has been removed and the compartment fitted with shelves. There are sails in place and further sails down below. Their condition is likely to be serviceable.
