CHESTNUT ROAN WELSH GELDING

Beautiful registered Welsh Section C gelding standing at hh. 6y/o. Clean limbed. Easy to do in most ways, good to load, groom, bathe, stand tied up and good with the farrier, however if out in a big field full of lush grass he can be difficult to catch, but he will come in for a bucket of feed. He has recently been taken back to basics with schooling work, he has three lovely paces, but he is still quite green and does occasionally need reminding of the correct lead in canter on his right rein, but he is very willing and wants to please, he is anybodys ride, he will happily plod around with a complete novice but will also step it up for a more experienced rider. I have just introduced him to jumping, which he loves, and I feel this is where he will excel with the right rider. He is fantastic to hack out either alone or in company, he is good in all types of traffic and he is never silly, strong or spooky. He is very low maintenance and easy to keep. 10'3 chestnut welsh x gelding in Melton Mowbray

Lead rein or 2nd pony, Brought as a 1st project for my daughter and is proving to be a little star. We have had him ridden in walk, trot, canter, over poles and small cross poles, out on the roads by himself, galloped in an open field and is taking it all in his stride. We have also had a novice child on him off the lead in walk and trot and he didn't put a foot wrong, is perfect to handle and catch etc, has been shown in hand in his previous home.
