I have for sale my 11year old typical chestnut mare. She will hack alone or in company. She is forward going. Currently ridden by an adult. Rode by a novice teen in the menage. She is excellent to clip and shoe. Treats are needed during summer months to catch. She loves schooling work and has potential for dressage but she is wasted by me as I just want to hack. Used to heavy traffic, lorries, motorbikes etc but can spook at tiny things. She doesnt rear or buck. She is up to date with vaccs, teeth. She is a typical chestnut mare and she can kick out at other horses whilst ridden or tied up(mainly when tied up). You need to be experienced with these types of mares or she will take advantage. I generally believe and have been told she has dressage potential and I also think with the right owner she could become a lovely all-rounder. CHESTNUT ROAN WELSH GELDING

Beautiful registered Welsh Section C gelding standing at hh. 6y/o. Clean limbed. Easy to do in most ways, good to load, groom, bathe, stand tied up and good with the farrier, however if out in a big field full of lush grass he can be difficult to catch, but he will come in for a bucket of feed. He has recently been taken back to basics with schooling work, he has three lovely paces, but he is still quite green and does occasionally need reminding of the correct lead in canter on his right rein, but he is very willing and wants to please, he is anybodys ride, he will happily plod around with a complete novice but will also step it up for a more experienced rider. I have just introduced him to jumping, which he loves, and I feel this is where he will excel with the right rider. He is fantastic to hack out either alone or in company, he is good in all types of traffic and he is never silly, strong or spooky. He is very low maintenance and easy to keep. Pillheath Santana (aka Bruno for short) is a 4 year old Welsh pony Section B Gelding standing 13hh and registered. He is the first to come out of the field, very friendly and inquisitive. He is turned out year round and has a good winter coat. He will come with his rain and cold weather turnout rug but will need a new thick winter turnout rug. He is happy when the farrier visits him and loves a good brush. Bruno respects fences and is not skittish of cars, but doesnt like little yapping dogs to much. He has a friendly personality, is very affectionate and likes shiny things, if you have a shiny zip on your jacket he will grab it with his lips and give it a pull. He is a little cheeky too and will play with you in the field if you want to chase him or you have apples he will give you nudges, he has a big endearing personality. Bruno was bought as a project for my wife so that she could train him further and advance her skills, however after having him a week, we found out we were expecting and have been trying to juggle having the horses, but we have had to be realistic and feel they deserve a home where they can get some more attention. Bruno is excellent on a lead rein, he will match your pace as you walk. Even if you get him up to a trot he will match the speed you can do.
