Lined with a Times newspaper so at least 54 years <strong>oldstrong> but i think it is a lot <strong>oldstrong>er. Would suit either pr<strong>ofstrong>essional restorers or <strong>chintzstrong> project. Inspection welcome be<strong>forstrong>e auction end. The dimensions are approx 37 inches in height, 18 and half inches width and 37 and a half inches long. Buyer collects cash preferred and item is in Lytham near to the crematorium. Beautiful <strong>cheststrong> <strong>ofstrong> <strong>drawersstrong>, <strong>oldstrong> but not sure <strong>ofstrong> the exact period, and in need <strong>ofstrong> a bit <strong>ofstrong> TLC. The brass handles are not originals, but look good! Un<strong>forstrong>tunately the top has warped and come away from the sides at the back, as the previous owners had let it get wet. A couple <strong>ofstrong> the <strong>drawersstrong> are a bit sticky, but function OK and could easily be fixed. With a bit <strong>ofstrong> adjustment, I'm sure this piece could be improved. Drawer depths from the bottom drawer upwards are: 270mm, 220mm, 170mm and the two smaller <strong>drawersstrong> are 115mm deep. the previous owner t<strong>oldstrong> me she bought the <strong>drawersstrong> second hand in and the clear plastic handles were on it then, they are one piece moulded and screwed into the drawer as you can see in the pictures, one <strong>ofstrong> them has slight damage, second down on the right. There are age related marks and a couple <strong>ofstrong> splits but that adds to the character. The bottom drawer has some damage, a strip <strong>ofstrong> wood at the top has broken <strong>ofstrong>f so a gap shows when the drawer is closed, the piece <strong>ofstrong> wood is there so may be fixed. Because <strong>ofstrong> the damage the price is £135. Genuine <strong>Antiquestrong>.
