Hi, thanks for looking at my advert. This is a beautiful hand crafted piece of furniture for anybody's bedroom. With 6 deep drawers and the two bottom drawers are larger and deeper than the other four. It has got heavy 'diamante' glass handles. For sale is this absolutely stunning antique Welsh chest of drawers. It's a lovely solid scruffy old thing with bags of character and charm. It's totally original I've just given it a clean and wax. It has fantastic proportions, clean inside, a lovely inlay detail on the drawers and a very unusual combination of 2 over 4 drawers making it a little different from the norm. I honestly can't say enough about this piece it's cracking but if you're looking for a pristine restored antique this is not for you. Dimensions are Width 112 Height 115 Depth 53 all cms All of my items are genuine vintage or antique. Items of this age come with obvious age related knocks, bumps and scratches etc. In my opinion this only adds to the their originality and style. This is for a chest of drawers crying out for restoration. A quality item with wood lining between the drawer levels. All original including wooden knobs. Lined with a Times newspaper so at least 54 years old but i think it is a lot older. Would suit either professional restorers or chintz project. Inspection welcome before auction end. Large Antique Pine Chest of Drawers, Genuine Antique. in

For Sale Large Antique Pine Chest of Drawers, dimensions are approximately mm High, Wide and 530MM Deep, front to back including handles. Drawer depths from the bottom drawer upwards are: 270mm, 220mm, 170mm and the two smaller drawers are 115mm deep. the previous owner told me she bought the drawers second hand in and the clear plastic handles were on it then, they are one piece moulded and screwed into the drawer as you can see in the pictures, one of them has slight damage, second down on the right. There are age related marks and a couple of splits but that adds to the character. The bottom drawer has some damage, a strip of wood at the top has broken off so a gap shows when the drawer is closed, the piece of wood is there so may be fixed. Because of the damage the price is £135. Genuine Antique.

Beautiful chest of drawers, old but not sure of the exact period, and in need of a bit of TLC. The brass handles are not originals, but look good! Unfortunately the top has warped and come away from the sides at the back, as the previous owners had let it get wet. A couple of the drawers are a bit sticky, but function OK and could easily be fixed. With a bit of adjustment, I'm sure this piece could be improved. The price reflects this.
