Cannondale SS 29er with an Alfine 8 speed conversion. Less than a year old. This bike was originally a single speed mountain bike but with the Alfine hub and slick tyres it's one of the fastest commuter bikes around. It'll quite happily go up and down kerbs on the daily commute but I often do mile rides on it. It also has an upgraded shorter stem to give it quicker handling Size is XL. I'm 6ft tall and it's spot on. The RRP for the original bike was £799 and the Alfine conversion was over £350. It also has better brakes than it was originally fitted with. The original Stem and Tyres will be included in the sale price. I could remove the Alfine Hub and return it to the original single speed set up and re-negotiate the price if you wanted. We have here the highly regarded Genesis Day One Disc in arguably the best colour scheme they did. With disc brakes and Shimano Alfine 8 speed hub and brifter/brake lever gear change; not to be confused with the non-disc version, or bar end shifter or single speed version. As steel frames go, they don't come much better than this. 58cm frame. A very comfortable bike that will easily take 32mm plus tyres with still room for proper mudguards and a rack if you so wish. I am reluctantly parting company with my lovely bike due to needing more space in the garage having recently bought a new bike. The bike is in great working order and has been regularly serviced at Edinburgh Bicycle (which is where it was bought). I just gave it a full clean down and regrease and it rides very nicely. MK1 Cannondale Bad Boy for sale. This is the first version of the Bad Boy. One owner and maintained by a bike enthusiast. Rust-free. Very regretful sale but I have to make room for new bikes.
