We are selling our campervan due to never using it. It's getting warmer outside so she needs to go to someone who will make use of it. We bought it back in and later realised the body work at the front was a mess. We recently had a brand new front end installed along with a few side panels and the lower half completly resprayed. This was at a cost of £6k. The van has only covered 30 miles since. The van has the usual camper features - - Rock and roll bed - Wardrobe - Dual power circuits - Fridge freezer (gas/12v/mains) - Gas hob + grill - Electric water tap - Sink - Lots of storage space - Full curtains all round The following bits were sorted out during our ownership - - New panels + repray as mentioned above (last year) - Gear linkages part rebuild (last year) - Various rust patches under van treated and sprayed (last year) - Full service including oil filter, oil and diesel filter (last week) - Refurbed wheels (last year) - New leisure battery (last year) - New battery (today) - New glow plugs (today) - MOTd (today) The not so great bits - - There are various marks on the fibre glass roof. These are purely cosmetic and are not hugely noticeable - There is a small oil leak somewhere under the engine. Hi, Welcome to my X reg Mercedes Vito. It was bought for me as a project and has cone on leaps and bounds but with a baby on the way, the wife has told me it's got to go! It does have a FULL 12 month MOT on so can be driven away! It starts first time every time and the batteries are both 6 months old (van and leisure batteries). So let's talk about the little red rig! It's got a sparkly red paint job (previous owner) but look good! Theres a few age related marks but not overly noticeable like a normal Vito. Exterior: Sparkly paint as mentioned, few age related marks. For sale is our lovely camper, a Mercedes Vito 110 CDI complete with all fixtures and fittings, so that you are ready to go away straight away. The van has electric hook up. Purchased in January we set about converting it to a campervan to go away on our travels. In June the DVLA confirmed the change of use of the vehicle to a Motor Caravan on the V5. You are therefore legally allowed to drive the vehicle up to a maximum speed of 70 mph. The campervan can only legally take two people as only the front seats have seatbelts. The photos show the vehicle both with the pop up roof and without (internal photo and photo showing the drive away awning - which is also included in the sale) There are slide opening doors to both sides of the vehicle with tinted windows. Two covered boards are installed at night for privacy. There is also a pop up dining table which can attach to either sliding door so you can have your dining table on the side of your choice. To the outside is a Fiamma F35 pro black pull out awning (included in the sale) and a pop up roof allowing a generous standing up area within the vehicle. We have made a black out thermal wrap for the pop up roof to keep the van dry and warm when elevated, as the existing skirt to the pop up roof is not currently waterproof. A thermal screen cover from Comfortz Leisure (included in the sale) provides privacy and warmth, as does the two tube heaters situated on the front of the front seats which keeps the footwell area of the vehicle cosy. There is carpet throughout the rear of the vehicle, underneath which is lino, but we found the carpet to be warmer, especially when going away during the winter months. To the front are two single swivel captain seats which, when rotated to face the rear of the vehicle, form part of the two single beds. Two seating areas to the middle of the van convert to form the rest of the beds and the cushions form the mattresses. Beneath these two seating areas are large storage spaces and one of them has a pull out drawer. We have also made a further portable storage unit which fits between the two front seats for use when on camp site. To the rear of the van there is more storage. On the driver's side is a top cupboard and at floor level a large double cupboard on top of which is the microwave (included in the sale) and work surface area for the kettle (also included) and food preparation, with additional work surface area via a pull out drawer. On the passenger side of the van you have further storage. A top cupboard holds the 10 litre water container (included in the sale) and has extra storage space for other things. Below this is a pull out shelf which houses the portable Waeco 21 litre fridge unit (included in the sale) and has holders for bottle storage. Below the pull out drawer for the fridge there is another shallow pull out storage drawer and at the bottom a further pull out drawer which has a good capacity and which we have found to be really good at keeping food stuffs cool. At the very back, on the passenger side is the porta potty housed in a buddy box with padded lid for extra seating area. Every accessible part was insulated at the start of the conversion, with additional lining to the the roof and rear doors before the addition of the felt covering. There is a variety of lighting throughout the vehicle and all electrics are new. Mechanically wise, the van runs like a dream. It has a cam chain as opposed to a belt so no need to change this every few years. The van has had to have welding the last couple of years to the cills and there are areas of rust in various places, (standard for a Mercedes of her age). New front brakes were fitted in with new rear brake discs and four new tyres being done in . The van has alloy wheels with a spare steel wheel located beneath the vehicle. MOT runs out 7th March .
