If you are interested in starting a small breeding flock, we can offer 5 hens with one unrelated cockerel. Buff Orpingtons are lovely curious and friendly birds. Due to their mild nature that are frequently chosen as family pets, but if you are interested in these hens as livestock they are great dual purpose bird and normally lay around 200 eggs per year. They are heavy feathered so are very cold tolerant and unlike hybrid egg layers will continue laying through the colder winter months. Read More
