This is a piece of Sax history. This C melody was made in the late ’s. It was sympathetically restored and hasn’t been played since apart from testing a suitable mouthpiece on it. It is in original box and even has original neck strap. I obtained a modern rubber C melody mouthpiece for it so that it blows properly. This is the low tone version so it will play at 44o htz as most modern instruments do and so could be played with guitar piano etc. Selling as I no longer play woodwind. Beautiful Refurbished Conn C Melody Saxophone

Beautiful condition Conn New wonder Series 1 from s The sax has been completely repadded and plays exactly as it should. Comes with case and mouthpiece which are not original but are of the correct vintage. There are no previous repairs to the sax and the micro tuner works properly. It is in frosted silver finish with gold wash bell, all original.   Vintage Selmer Metal C* Alto Saxophone

Here's a vintage Selmer C* metal mouthpiece that has been through some pretty major reworking.  The previous owner decided to do some big time work here, and the results are honestly not very good.  I think this one will need the hand of an expert refacer in order to get it to sing. In light of this, I've put a very low buy it now price in light of the condition.

A beautiful vintage Conn 'New Wonder'alto sax with the original micro tune neck and rolled tone holes. Built in , serial No . Sad to see this one go but I really only play my tenor sax now. Last year it was fully serviced and given a full repad, new felt and corks and everything regulated and playing sweet. The body is a deep gold colour with some of the surface worn to the raw brass, I suspect at some point it possibly had a replate as the engraving is very faint. You can just see the C G Conn logo and made in Elkhart USA. All the key work has been silver plated fairly recently as it is in excellent condition(it was like this when I bought it however so not exactly sure when) A nice contrast with the dark vintage gold body. GIBSON C. ORIGINAL MELODY MAKER

This is a fabulous GIBSON ORIGINAL C. MELODY MAKER. OWNED FOR OVER 40 YEARS. Originally a one pickup guitar, modified and routed professionally with two FENDER custom shop '55 single coils and a 's DiMarzio hot humbuckers. Wired with master tone, master volume, and a strat style 5 way selector switch. This gives fabulous versatility for all the classic strat tones plus the awesome Gibson humbucker les paul/ s.g. sound st the bridge, or any combination. The frets are in great condition, really good guitar for a string bending blues man, with fantastic sustain. The bridge is a Badass bridge, with a silver USA dime glued to the top for added support and sustain, and the tuners were changed in the 70's for similar tuners but with metal buttons, now beautifully aged nickel. Strap buttons are locking nickel Dunlop. The scratchplate is the original one, knobs are old les paul standard. Don't know if the finish is original or not, it has been like this since I have owned it, with no sign of any other finish, but it could have been stripped and 're lacquered at some time in its distant past. Simply don't know. It has always been played, it is very light in weight and plays superbly, powerful with great tones. Never ever seen another one like it, and after 53 years it is an appreciating asset. Comes with a thick padded Gibson soft case. If you are into old guitars, this is the most playable and versatile I have ever owned (and that means over several thousand guitars) and will play anything from Cabaret to AC/DC covers!
