Beautiful condition Conn New wonder Series 1 from s The sax has been completely repadded and plays exactly as it should. Comes with case and mouthpiece which are not original but are of the correct vintage. There are no previous repairs to the sax and the micro tuner works properly. It is in frosted silver finish with gold wash bell, all original. The straight neck Conns are very comfortable to play in that the neck puts the body of the sax further away from the player, ie it feels more like a tenor sax. Any trial welcome. In great physical and playing condition, this is an ideal "step-up" intermediate-to-advanced saxophone. Bought nearly 2 years ago, I have barely played it the last year or so since buying a new alto and finding I prefer it to tenor. Comes with branded carrier case (soft shell), neck strap, and a few unused Rico (no. 3) reeds. Stand not included. Alto Saxophone. C G Conn 'new wonder' vintage.

A beautiful vintage Conn 'New Wonder'alto sax with the original micro tune neck and rolled tone holes. Built in , serial No . Sad to see this one go but I really only play my tenor sax now. Last year it was fully serviced and given a full repad, new felt and corks and everything regulated and playing sweet. The body is a deep gold colour with some of the surface worn to the raw brass, I suspect at some point it possibly had a replate as the engraving is very faint. You can just see the C G Conn logo and made in Elkhart USA. All the key work has been silver plated fairly recently as it is in excellent condition(it was like this when I bought it however so not exactly sure when) A nice contrast with the dark vintage gold body. Definitely a unique horn and if you want something with that sweet fat tone which these horns have then worth a try! Comes complete with neck strap and Hiscox liteflite pro 2 case! Read More
