Hi I want to give your riding horse a good and loving free home. I am looking for a gelding of 15 hands approx, a riding horse, must be well mannered, (bomb proof!) with a clean bill of health. I have access to a stable with services and land in the Hope Valley, Derbyshire. I will love and care for the right horse. He will make friends with other horses and ponies on 12 acres. He was used to hunt with Ross Harriers before I bought him however I have never hunted him. For the past 3 1/2 years I have developed his schooling and showjumping, despite never refusing and rarely knocking down a fence in a show jumping ring, his canter needs developing further if looking to buy for showjumping. Bailey is great out hacking.. alone or in company, infront or behind, open fields, waiting/walking in open fields without getting fizzy or impatient, opening gates, no issues with tractors/motorbikes/lorries/buses as nothing seems to phase him. He is also good for the farrier, to clip, catch, bath and load. Bailey can sometimes be a little bit bolshy on the ground so he needs someone firm to tell him right from wrong. I am only selling Bailey as I work full time and I have got back into mounted games so no longer have the time he needs and deserves. Danny is a sweet natured horse looking for a new home. He has competed in all disciplines and shown successfully at county level. Jumped courses of 95cm with me and cross country schooled over 100cm+ fences, very honest and scopey jump. He has jumped everything I have put him in front of, helped me out, finds his own stride and always tries his best to please. Would excel in working hunter or eventing with progression, also works in an outline but again needs work with consistency. Danny is a very sensitive horse and can be sharp at times, because of this he does need a confident, knowledgeable and light rider. He is 100% on the ground and will stand all day to be brushed and pampered. Hi, I have a bay 8yr old 17hh Irish hunter type gelding for sale. Bought over from Ireland. He does have a few issues but is a genuin chap, lovely Temperament lives in or out needs a confident rider who will ride him on as he has the tendency to bronk, and I don't have the time to ride him on due to stud tendencies, he is a project and needs work but will be a fab horse in the future. I have walked/trotted/cantered and jumped him, he can be a bit sensitive with handling but I just tend to ignore it and carry on with doing whatever it is I'm doing with him, he came over from Ireland by a transporter and as far as I'm aware he was good to travel but I've never travelled him myself.
